Challenge Summary

Welcome to EMC - Professional Services Ecosystem - Slogan Idea Contest. In this contest, we are looking for your help in framing 7 slogans (2 – 3 word phrases each) i.e. 1 slogan for the overall new Professional Services internal organizational model and other 6 Slogans for EMC Work-groups as well as Practices. These 2-3 word slogans should convey the message of the overall essence of what a professional services model is all about.


Contest Description
For this contest, we are looking for your creative thoughts/ideas to come up with a innvotive 2 to 3 word slogan than will used as a part of the overall new professional services organization modal and also for their work groups, practices. These slogans which you frame/create need to convey the message i.e. it really needs to help users identify the professional services model and also their associated work groups.

IMPORTANT!! Slogan Requirements: 
Each Slogan phrase should be:
- Short - should contain only 2-3 words. Something short enough to easily remember
- Catchy - it can rhyme, but doesn’t have to. We love alliteration! But it shouldn’t be “sing songy” (shouldn’t be like a musical composition with words).
- Unique - It needs to be different from each of the other phrases
- Identifying - it really should speak to the focus of this particular work Group or model. (In particular case of phrase #1 – the phrase for the overall Professional Services model – the phrase should really be able to tell those outside of our organization (our customers and partner internal to EMC) what Professional Service is all about.
- Attractive - It should appeal to people so as to make you want to be a part of it!
- Please ensure that no other brand/company has the slogan which you come up with. (You can probably do a search with the slogan you frame to see if no one else has that.).
- Please submit multiple submissions for different slogans.

Required Slogans: 
We have summarized the Overall Professional Services Organizational Model and also the EMC Work Groups & Practices, You will find more information on these in the attached document. You will need to come up with a slogan
for each of the below:

1) Overall EMC Professional Services Organizational Model: 
The EMC Professional Services Organization Model consists of work-groups, which can be defined as a group of people with similar skills who will be responsible for engagement of members by defining the overall Organizational Responsibilities required for efficiently engaging their members and also helps to identify qualified delivery partners for its membership.

2) Practices: 
- Practices is a community of experts around a defined set of solutions (for Products, Technologies and Services) from different work groups.
- Practices will play an important role in offering initiatives to members for their skills and also provide career growth.

3) Program Management Work Group: 
- The Program Management Work Group has the responsibility of delivering the Customers projects by constantly coordinating with the members in this work group and also with other work groups. 

4) Transformation Work Group: 
- The Transformation Work Group has the responsibility of helping customers improve their business and productivity through various technologies and models.
- Success is determined by what has been contributed to the customer and also the revenues and opportunities it brings to the Organization.

5) Applications Work Group: 
- The Application Work Group has the responsibility of ensuring that EMC Professional Services delivers best in class application to its customers.
- This work group works along with portfolio and federation partners to achieve the consistency. 

6) Infrastructure Work Group: 
- The Infrastructure Work Group has the responsibility of helping customers to adopt, implement infrastructure solutions by using the technologies and solutions from EMC and its business partners.
- They basically provide solutions to their customer’s infrastructure challenge.

7) The Go to Market (GTM) Support Work Group: 
- The Go to Market (GTM) Support Work Group has the responsibility of working closely with the customers by effectively leveraging skills at pre-sales and post-sales to enhance the relationships with customer.
- This Work Group is also responsible for the efficient use of support resources to deal complex process and thereby achieve Customer satisfaction

Judging Criteria
- Is your slogan short?
- How catchy, unique and attractive your slogan is?
- Have you ensured that, it is not the slogan of any other brand/company?
- Does your slogan really speak/convey the message about the Organization (or) Work Group/Practices.

Submission & Source Files
Preview Image
Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your slogans on it - you can be creative as its just a place holder preview.

Submission File
Please submit a WORD or PDF document (you can use the provided template) with the required slogans, please make sure to indicate for which work-group you are given the slogan.

Source Files
Please submit the same word document which you created. 

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your words or phrasing.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
