Welcome to the FAST! DevNet Badge Design Concepts Challenge! A networking company would like to create new badges for their developer community! We are looking for some cool design concepts around badges that represent the different levels of seniority for different developers in this community.
This is a FAST contest! Please be aware of the quick timelines and plan accordingly, ask in the forums if you have any questions!

Contest Details
We are looking for three (3) badge design concepts, each at two different sizes. Badges represent achievements and levels of seniority within the developer community, they are a symbol of accomplishment. The goal of this challenge is to create three (3) badges that represent different levels of expertise. The badges for this developer community will be used on their website, on user profiles, and wherever there is a need to represent different levels of seniority (Junior, Senior, Master).
Design Requirements:
Badge Designs:
- Badge designs must be vector graphics
- Each badge needs to be created each at 300px by 300px, and also at 100px by 100px.
- The badges should look like a set.
- Try to use a mix of graphics and good typography, to show the importance of these achievements.
Branding Guidelines
- The community colors are: green (#346632), blue (#286180), purple (#452469), Orange (#e17500)
- You CAN NOT use clip art of any kind. All designs must be your original work.
- Do not use their logo or reference the actual company - this is about the developer community
- Colors are open to the designers but it must work with the specified colors and additional colors should be complementary.
- Shape is open to the designer (try some different shapes/options)
Content Details:
The three badges to create need to display these:
1. Junior Developer (JD)
2. Senior Developer (SD)
3. Master Developer (MD) / DevNet Doctor
You must include the full text on each badge, the initials are optional. The initials alone can be used on the smaller sized badges if required.

Fonts and Colors
- Fonts are open to the designer, please be aware of Studio font delivery requirements
- Colors are open to the designer, try to use the company colors listed above, or colors complementary to them.

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it. You are incoraged to "present" your badges
Submission File
Your graphics as JPG or PNG files.
Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Original source files of AI / EPS (Illustrator) vector graphic files.
Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes for this contest, you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.
