Welcome to topcoder - Submit to a Challenge - Storyboard Challenge
The new topcoder.com website has been released and now it's time to get more areas of the community functionality redesigned. The new site is tailored to our talented community and our goal is to give everyone a great user experience.
In this challenge we need you to redesign some screens to show the flow of submitting to a challenge in Design and Software Development Track.

Round 1
Your initial design for checkpoint review:
- Submit all screens to get feedback from client.
- Any notes or comments about your design.
Round 2
- Your final design with all checkpoint feedback implemented
- Any notes or comments about your design.
Primary Goal:
The goal of this challenge is to redesign the "Submitting" screens for both Design and Software Development track.
We are providing the screenshot images of the current submitting flow in Design Studio track and some mockups for Software Development track. At the end of this challenge we are looking for simple and clean screens showing this submitting process. Your design solution should match our new topcoder web GUI kit provided.
General Requirement:
1. We provide the Landing Page Update Header And Footer.zip
--- Use the header and footer from this storyboard on your design.
2. see designtrack_submission_screens.zip and developmenttrack_submission_screens.zip. These files containing the flow for the submitting sceens we are looking for.
3. All your graphic elements should match our new topcoder look and feel. We are providing the topcoder web GUI kit as your base design.
Required Screens:
1. Design - Submit to a Challenge screens
- see designtrack_submission_screens.zip, in this file you will see all the screens that need to be redesigned.
- You can simply access this screens by simulating the submit process to a challenge in our studio challenge page. You can do this by click the "Submit" button from Active challenges page or "Submit Your Entries" in a challenge detail page.
- We need your ideas/concept to organize the new and better layout of this page. We need it simple and clean.
- Feel free to include any graphics or icons that you think should make the screens simpler, easy to understand and have more great user experience.
- Please keep in mind, how do you want to see our new submitting process look like???? SIMPLE and SIMPLE.
2. Software Development - Submit to a Challenge screens
- see developmenttrack_submission_screens.zip. There are only few simple screens for this right now.
- For now we are looking for a design that match the new Design submission process.
IMPORTANT: All of the elements you see on these screens need to be included, and the flow should NOT be changed. But you are free to include any additional information that you think appropriate and will improve the submiiting process.
Target Audience:
- Current and potential customers
- Current and potential community (The entire TopCoder Community AND the entire Cloudspokes community)
Judging Criteria:
- How well your design follow and match the current theme of the provided storyboard
- Cleanliness and consistency of your graphics and design
- How well your layout work with the new theme of the site
- SIMPLICITY
Submission & Source Files:

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.
Submission File
Submit JPG/PNG image files based on contest submission requirements stated above.
Source Files
All original source files. Original source files should be saved as layered Photoshop PSD files.
Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. If items were missed from the checkpoint round you may be asked to include them in your final design.
