Challenge Summary

memecenterWho said we aren't romantic at topcoder!  It's Valentine's Day again and we want you to write some poetry demonstrating your love for things built with 1's and 0's. Here are some old samples to get you started!

Ruby (on Rails) is red.
Error screens are blue.
If you're adopting the cloud.
CloudSpokes is for you.

Oh Cloud
I work with you from everywhere
No servers in my life, no despair
You bring me breathtaking innovation
Without rest you fill me with forward motion
How can I get to the future now?
If only a new development model could show me how

Oh Crowd

The world is flat and its people strong
Connecting them has never been easier, it won’t be long
Until all of you together can help me drive
The skills I need to live and thrive
No more games with hours and rates
You just bring me results, a revolutionary state

Requirements are open. You could write a Sonnet, a Haiku or whatever type of poetry you like.  It should be at least a little humorous about developers, designers, cloud, APIs, mobile or topcoder.

Studio requires three files when submitting.
Please submit a blank image or a screenshot of your poem as your Preview file.
Zip your text file up and submit that in both the Submission and Source fields.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

Stock photography is not allowed in this challenge. All submitted elements must be designed solely by you. See this page for more details.

How To Submit

  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.
