Appirio is working on a New Sales Kit Application for iPad and would like you to help us design it. This Sales Kit will harness the power of mobile devices and channel it into an effective sales strategy. This New Application will ensure that our sales teams, partners, and customers will have immediate and secure access to all the latest sales and marketing materials. Our sales team will be able to access the most contextual content, tailor as they talk and perform at their best.

You will be designing the UI/UX experience for our sales teams. Please see attached Design Direction Document for detailed guidance for the screens we are looking for. We’ve also attached several samples of custom UI for this sales kit application. Please reference this as well as the link to our inspiration gallery for this challenge to get you going on your concepts.

Important!! Design Considerations:
- For this contest, you are required to design only the Landscape (1024 x 768px) screens for Standard iPad Ver.
- Note that - your designs will be later be converted to Retina display (i.e. images will be scaled), so please make sure all required design UI elements being created are scalable vectors.
- Please reference the design direction document for guidance on your concepts...but please do not copy exactly what we have provided.
- Though the wireframe (Design-Direction.pdf) shows all the information required in a screen, we would like you think beyond to improve it and help us figure out the flow and UI for this application.
- You will be designing for an HTML iPad experience. This sales kit will use HTML to deliver content for marketing and sales applications from the cloud to mobile devices.

Required Screens:
Below are the iPad screens required for this challenge…

1) Landing Screen:
This is initial page of the Sales Kit Application. We are looking for you to come up with a nice juicy visual good-looking landing page.
- Logo is required in this screen; use a size that fits your design.
- We need a place to show the Application name “Sales Kit”.
- Need a couple of links “Getting Started and Help Guide”
- User will be able to login by clicking a login button/link
- Is a search bar required in the screen?

2) Dashboard:
This screen will be shown after a user has logged into the application…
- Logo is required in this screen, use a size that fits your design.
- A title for the screen “Sales Kit” is required.
- Few quick links like “Feedback, Settings and Profile”
- A place to show the notifications, which shows the recent posts, any updates done to the sales kit etc…we would like you to come up some ideas on how to show this…feel free to use some placeholder text (lorem ipsum..) to show these.
- Search bar is required in the screen.
- One of the main area in this screen is Navigation, the navigation includes the following “Welcome, Insights, Plan & Forecast, Selling, Communication, Execution, Service, My Items and ‘+’ (option to add any other additional category to navigation).
- We would like you to think, how these navigation need to be shown…icons are desired – if you better ideas, please come up with your ideas.

3) Welcome:
This is welcome screen shown when a user taps “Welcome” in the navigation, this screen shows the below contents:
- Description of Sales Kit Application, come up ideas for this. Use placeholder text to show this
- Basically we expect this screen to contain Getting Started information, and other helpful content for a new user – we are looking for you to come up with ideas by researching more on reference links which we have shared.
- We will have few links to guide (Could be PDF, Docs, Videos etc).
- We also need you to show the main navigation and how effectively we can show navigation in this and other screens below (please do not copy the wireframe – that is just to give you an idea.) Please come up with your ideas for showing navigation; we need all the eight/nine navigation items shown in Dashboard screen.

4) My Items:
This screen is accessed from the main navigation…
- This provides the user a quick access to a list of projects…think on how we need to show this - wireframe doesn’t show this but we would like you to come up with this screen.
- Each project in turn can have multiple nested folders that contain presentations, white papers, videos, pdfs, and other relevant sales material.
- How the files within the project need to shown, should we make the user go to a new screen to view these files or do you have any better idea?

5) Presentation Player/Video:
This Screen is shown when the user clicks on a presentation within the project folder and this is what you will see as you present to a client.
- We need a place to show the presentation title, a button to go to the previous screen.
- Do you think having Appirio logo would be appropriate in this screen?
- Wireframe provides you with a basic idea of how this screen can be, please come up with more thoughts and do not limit your ideas with wireframe.

6) Settings:
This screen is accessed when user taps on the settings button.
- This screen allows a user to customize their Sales Kit experience with application settings
- We are looking for your help in coming up with how a settings screen needs to be shown?

- Show us your ideas here, please use placeholder text wherever necessary.
