Challenge Summary

Welcome to the TCO14 Sponsorship Powerpoint Presentation Challenge! For this challenge, we need your creativity and skills to create an appropriate and enticing Powerpoint presentation to help showcase the event to possible sponsors. 

We are providing a current PPT design that we would like you to pull from to create this new presentation. The look and feel of the provided PPT deck is what we are trying to achieve with this new presentation that we are having you design. Please use the provided PPT as a design reference and try to make your design look as similar to that as possible while working in the new content for the TCO14 Sponsorship.

Initial submission of the following slides:

Round 2

Final submission of the presentation with all the slides and features mentioned in the Requirement section plus any checkpoint updates.


Primary Goal & Design Considerations
The primary goal of this challenge is to create a powerful Powerpoint presentation that would help showcase TCO14 to sponsors with the help of appropriate content and enticing graphical elements. 

Branding Guidelines and Other Things to Consider
- Please view design example for design direction
- Colors should complement TCO14 website
- Fonts are open to creativity. However, we would like fonts that are Powerpoint safe. Keep in mind that this presentation will be sent and/or viewed to different users, correct usage of font is a big factor. Use the fonts wisely to make the design attractive, not busy. Declare your fonts according to the Studio font's policies.
- Keep in mind that we will be using this Sponsorship PDF file, so make your design complement this PDF.
- Photos - you can get photo elements from our Flick Photo sets, just make sure to use TCO13 photo sets. You are allowed to enhance any photo or add any design to make it look good and stand out.
- Slide Transitions and Element Animations - add some nicely done slide transitions and element animation to make your slide more presentable.

Powerpoint Presentation Requirements
There are basically only 2 slide format, these are the Cover slide and Inner slides. The inner slides should have the following basic format:
- Text Title ( should be editable and not rasterized image )
- Text copy ( should be editable and not rasterized image )
- Photos 
- topcoder logo
- TCO14 logo 
- Background
- Slide and element transitions/animations 

The following are the slide requirements, you can get each slide content respectively from the provided sponsor-presentation-challenge-copy.pptx file. 

Slide #1: Cover Page
- this slide will be the cover page
- can be a graphical element 

Slide #2: About TCO
- this slide will contain an introduction of what is TCO
- add text element about the introduction from the provided PPT file (slide 2)
- add a photo element(s) showcasing TCO13 winners

Slide #3: Event Location
- this slide will have information of the location and event date
- get the text copy of the location and event date from the provided PPT file (slide 3)
- add photo placeholder where we can place the image of the location

Slide #4: More Than Just a Competition 
- add text elements from the provided PPT file (slide 4)
- add photo(s) that will showcase images related to Developer Conference, Mashathon, Keynote speakers, and/or Tradeshow of sponsors and vendors.

Slide #5: Get Involved with the TCO
- this slide will contain text elements showcasing the benefits of being a TCO sponsor
- add the text element from the provided PPT file (slide 5)
- add the testimonial text from the previous sponsors
- you may add photo if this will look good to the slide

Slide #6: Sponsorship Options (Diamond)
- this slide is about different ways to sponsor the event
- copy text from the provided PPT file (slide 6)
- add photos that are related to sponsors 

Slide #7: Sponsorship Options (Platinum and Gold)
- this is a continuation of slide #6
- copy text info from the provided PPT file (slide 7)
- add photos that are related to sponsors 

Slide #8: Additional Sponsorship Options
- this slide offers additional or other sponsorship options
- copy text info/options from the provided PPT file (slide 8)
- you can copy the existing image from the provided PPT file (slide 8), you can however free to enhance it to make it look more appealing

- this slide will offer other links to learn more about TCO event
- you are free to make this as link or graphical elements to make them look good

Submission & Source Files
Preview Image
Create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it. You are free to resize or crop your submission to fit this size, but do not add any filters or elements for dramatic effect, such as drop shadows or reflections.

Submission File
All requested contest requirements and slides as PPT (Powerpoint Files) and PNG (static images).

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design (All graphic sources and Powerpoint files). 

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics, images (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. If Milestone updates are not completed you may be asked to update them during Final Fixes. 

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

Stock Photography

Stock photography is not allowed in this challenge. All submitted elements must be designed solely by you. See this page for more details.

How To Submit

  • New to Studio? ‌Learn how to compete here
  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.
