Challenge Summary
Welcome to the WeGoLook – Mobile Design Concepts Challenge!
In this challenge, we are looking forward to your help in coming up with an easy to use UI/UX design concept for the WeGoLook Mobile Application.
The WeGoLook Mobile Application will be used by the registered Lookers (Agents) to complete various assignments consisting of capturing and sending dynamic data and personalized reports to the WeGoLook system.
We are looking for a clean UI/UX solution, making the application easy to use by all WeGoLook Agents that are not tech-savvy, and we have provided the mock-ups for the application screens to help you get started, but remember that we are looking to also improve the application flow wherever possible and you are welcome to come up with a better solution.
Round 1
Initial / Rough Concept for Five (5) Screens:
- Looker Dashboard
- Look Information
- Look Photos
- Look Questions
- Look Review and Submit
- Any additional screens or notes you wish to include
Round 2
Final Concept Designs + updates from checkpoint feedback for all required screens:
- All listed items - final designs
- Any additional screens or notes you wish to include
The main goal of this challenge is to come up with a clean and easy to use UI/UX concept for the WeGoLook Mobile Application.
The application will be built using HTML5, therefore since it will not be a native application we require just one "set" of designs that will work for all devices, and we will later change all the specific elements that are native - to better fit each platform (OS).
Use the provided mock-up designs for the application screens to help you get started, keeping in mind that we would like to see if you have a better solution to improve the flow and the UI/UX. Remember that the application needs to be very easy to use by all Lookers (Agents).
The WeGoLook Mobile Application will be used by the registered Lookers (Agents) to complete various assignments consisting of capturing and sending dynamic data and personalized reports to the WeGoLook system. Data capture includes specific photos, observations, measurements, notes and comments, as requested in the assignments. One important aspect is that all the data collected using the WeGoLook Mobile Application will not be stored on the device, but only in the WeGoLook application, and only until the Looker (Agent) completes the assignment he collected de data for.
Overview:
The Lookers will use the application to login using their WeGoLook credentials, and access their dashboard where they can find the looks (jobs) assigned to them, and the ones that are currently available in their area.
From here the looker can select and open a look in order to see the assignment details, the specific data that is requested for that particular assignment, and to complete it. Once he provides all the required data for a particular assignment, the looker will sign a form on the screen of their device to certify they have completed the data collecting process and then they can review and submit the report.
Screens Required for this challenge (see attached mock-up designs for the application screens):
1. Login:
Lookers will log in using their WeGoLook credentials;
Here we should also have a "Remember me" option, so that the application will not request the log in details next time.
2. Looker Dashboard:
Will show their dashboard, with the looks (jobs) that are currently assigned to them;
We don't need the "Looks in my area" section, however we require perhaps a refresh button/icon/gesture here instead, in order to refresh the list of current looks (jobs).
3. Look information:
On this screen the Looker can see all the information and instructions for the current assignment.
All the information is loaded from the WeGoLook server, and can be different for each assignment.
4. Look Photos (list – take – review):
On this screen they can see all the specific photos required for the current assignment. They can open each requirement entry one by one and take the required photo.
Some photos will require a comment while others will be optional, so when reviewing the taken photos the Looker needs to be able to also add a comment if required.
5. Look Questions:
This screen will house all the specific questions for the current assignment, and fields for any additional comments the Looker might want to add and for the Looker signature in order to certify that he completed the entire data collecting process.
The Signature field can be a regular field for text input.
6. Look Review and Submit:
Here the Looker can have a look at the entire report, and submit it.
We also need to define a solution for the Looker to go back or edit a section of the report when he is reviewing, if he found a mistake or something wrong.
7. Contact WeGoLook PRO Team:
This screen will include details like a static phone number and email address for the Lookers to get in touch with the WeGoLook team.
8. Settings Screen:
Here the users can change the settings of the application, like:
Upload Photos only when connected to a WIFI network [ON/OFF]
Upload Files as Look is being completed [ON/OFF]
We also need a logout option somewhere inside the application.
Important aspects to consider:
We are looking for an improved UI/UX, you are welcome to come up with better solutions for the navigation and click-paths throughout the entire application, in order to improve the flow.
We don't need the "Looker FAQs" and "My Profile" screens or navigation options.
The "Complete My Look" feature is to be used in case the Looker was interrupted before submitting the report in case he would like to get back and continue where left off.
You are free to re-imagine how the navigation and the application features would be displayed on the screen - including coming up with new ways for the Looker to interact with the required elements - for example: the application menu and the navigation through the different sections of the assignments could be menus as in the provided mock-ups, or it could be navigation icons etc. The same goes for the "Complete My Look" feature - this could be a button or a notification available when restarting the application if the Looker didn't finished the report he was working on - that would allow the Looker to continue where he left off. In cases such as this where you need more screens to show all elements, please include any additional screens that would convey your idea.
