Challenge Summary

Welcome to “FAST!! Scientific Cockpit Design Challenge”. In this challenge, we need your help to design 1 (one) dashboard/cockpit storyboard screen for our web based application, let’s called it the Scientific Cockpit Application. At the end of this contest, we are looking for  a modern, clean, and neat design for the dashboard / cockpit screen that bring a great UI/UX feels for our user.

We’ve got a FAST timeline in this challenge, so join now, create your design and always pay attention to the timeline!!

Round 1

Initial dashboard/cockpit screen for client review

Round 2

Final dashboard/cockpit screen with client feedback applied

The Scientific Cockpit Application is a web-based application that will consolidate many disparate scientific tools into one centralized location with a common UI/UX. Think of the tools as being widgets that could display information from other applications or just link to them - or some combination.

The cockpit will be used by approximately 40 scientists, as well as approximately 60 other users, including molecular diagnostic scientists, product evaluation scientists, and others so it should appeal to a user base that will populate it with different tools or may want to show different things as they prefer.

The cockpit will provide links to scripts and flat files of data, as well as links to other tools. It will provide access to applications, advanced workflows and tasks. Create examples of tools that look like they fit rather than just "Lorum Ipsum" style text and widgets.

Think scientific and biotechnology.
