Challenge Summary

Welcome to “FAST!! 5 Hours Mobile Museum Stores Gamification Wireframes Challenge”. We are assisting a museum organization in Washington DC to build a mobile application for their museum store. In this challenge, we need your UX skills to build the flow for this application. At the end of this challenge, we are looking a great layout and great user experience that can present our flow requirements.

In this challenge, we want to build wireframes that able to show flow for our upcoming mobile application created for iPhone and android (limited devices). You are free to create it in portrait or landscape view (choose whatever you feels comfortable). 

Please read our requirements below for more details of what interaction that we want to see in your wireframes submission :

General Requirements
1.    This application purpose is to draw museum visitor attention to visit museum store.
2.    We will use ibeacon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBeacon) technology for draw visitor attention. 
3.    We want the application guide people through the museum to the store - at the same time, we want people in the store to guide people to exhibits in the museum
4.    We want there to be a gamification experience. There would be beacons in exhibits and we want people who use it to gain points as they visit exhibits. When they get to the store they can get discounts on store items based on points accumulated.

Details Interaction 
1.    Visitor must login first to use this application. They can use guest account OR use their social media account to login to the application (twitter or Facebook). Show us how the login features should be done (including error message).

2.    After visitor login to the application, There will two menus available for them, visitor can choose one of these options (they can go back and choose other menus anytime they want) : 

a.    Collector - Gamification Area
b.    Purchaser – Go to store

3.    If visitor choose a collector menu :

a.    They will experience gamification mode in this application menu.
b.    In the museum, we will be placing a beacon in each art gallery. Visitor must find the beacon and once their device detect it, there should be some pop up page or some new page showing them an information details of that particular art items, this way visitor can find out what kind of art they are viewing of. The information details can be images, brief description of the art, history of the art, etc that you think appropriate to be shown of. 
c.    There would be a status bar at the bottom to show how many beacons they have detected.
d.    Everytime they detect beacons, they should gain points in the application and it can be use as a discount for an item store based on points accumulated.
 
4.    If visitor choose a purchaser menu :
a.    They will see a list of inventory items that available in the museum store.
b.    Visitor can choose particular items and it will show details information of the inventory items.
c.    When visitor is in the museum store, they also can scanned QR codes in the store items and it will shows a video of the item store and link to purchase the item store.
d.     We also want to have status bar that shows final statistic of the visitor (items being purchased, items viewed, art viewed, beacons detected, etc).

Judging criteria
Your submission will be judged on the following criteria:
- User experience
- Completeness and accuracy of the areas of functionality and content
- How well your wireframes provide a consistent user flow and clear information architecture for the application

Submission & Source Files
Preview Image
Create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Generated HTML files with all the requested contest requirements stated above.

Source Files
Wireframes should be built in Axure. The resulting files should have generated HTML files. Also, all the content must be listed and the pages are linked together to show page flow.

Final Fixes
As part of the Final Fix phase, you may be asked to remove, update, or change some features of the wireframe.

Stock Photography

Stock photography is not allowed in this challenge. All submitted elements must be designed solely by you. See this page for more details.

  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.
