Challenge Summary

SAPs HANA cloud platform is big. It is really big. It is so big that I don't even really know what it does. So when someone at DocuSign asked me if I could think of ways to integerate DocuSign and the HANA platform, I gave them a blank stare. Suddenly a lightbulb went off in my head. "I know someone who can tell you!", I said with much excitement. The thing is that I didn't know one person who could tell me anything about the HANA platform. What I do know is that I have access to powerful community who can probably think of some great ideas on ways these two technologies could work together.

For this idea generation challenge we are asking you to do some research into what SAP HANA Cloud Platform is and what it can do. You'll also want to check out the offerings from DocuSign

The final deliverable for this challenge should be a word doc or PDF which includes the following:

  • Brief overview of what the SAP HANA Cloud Platform is
  • 10 ideas of ways that DocuSign could plug into the HANA platform and make an impact on someones life. (Called a DocuStory - see below)

While working with DocuSign we often hear what they call "DocuSign stories", which is a story about a time in which DocuSign tehcnology has made an impact on someones life. I linked some DocuStories from the DocuSign Momentum 2014 keynote there to help inspire you! Think of ways that these DocuStory moments can happen when integrated with the SAP HANA cloud platform. It may be something on the platform itself and be highly technical, or it may be a cool idea for a real world app on the HANA platform which makes that DocuStory come to life. Each idea should include some explanation of how the HANA platform supports this DocuStory.
