24 hrs TC Legacy Site Reskin Bug Hunt

Requirements

In this bug hunt, you will hep us to test the reskinned TopCoder Legacy Site. We have deployed the reskinned version to preview.topcoder.com/tc.

Important parts for QA:

• Find out the parts linked from the new site but not reskinned (except the review opportunites and review board)
• Test all the screens associated with forums: Post, Preview, Attach Files, Different view modes, settings etc.
• Test carefully the My TopCoder - Payments section. Try to do all the possible tasks within the area.
• The Algorithm parts (SRMs and Marathon) have many pages linked deep from the beginning entry from left navigation panel. Make sure to thoroughly test them.

Review Judge Criteria - important to read before you start:

To avoid the situation that competitors find out a lot of trivial bugs instead of major / critical bugs, we want to adjust the ranking rule like the following:

• A >= major level bug gives you a score 10 - bug prevents user from performing an operation or cause a feature missing, or a major UI issue exists in many places 
• A minor level bug gives you a score 1.5 - a minor UI issue causes the page not rendered properly
• A trival level bug gives you a score 0.5 - a tirval issue is like front size, padding / margin, grammar error, typo, colors, font-weight etc

Use your own judgement to determine the priority level the bug belongs to, but it's up to the reviewer (copilot) to determine the correct priority level in the review phase.

The competitor with the highest score will win the prize of the bug hunt challenge, please note that only the 1st place prize is given in this bug hunt. For non-winner, we pay the following for the found bugs - update to $200

• $10 for major
• $2 for minor
• $1 for trival

Final Submission Guidelines

• The Bug Ticket should be entered under component TC Legacy Site Reskin in project TopCoder Systems Bug Hunt: https://apps.topcoder.com/bugs/browse/TDEDBH/component/13560 
• For each ticket, the following information should be included ���
  • The link of the page
  • Steps to reproduce
  • Current result
  • Expected result
  • The browser(s) and version
  • The screenshot (it's better to have annotation in the screenshot if the description is not straightforward)
• For the similar issues or issues with the same cause or in the same page area, please aggregate them into one issue and describe the aggregation. If you submit unaggregated issues multiple times, and there are other competitor providing an aggregated one, we will pick up the aggregated one.
• For online submission, please submit a document to list all the issue tickets you create.
