Contest Details
The goal of this contest is to design the table top graphic. This is one large graphic that will be placed on twenty-four desks that are the main focal point of the onsite competition arena. The same graphic will be used for all of the onsite competitions. As such, the graphic should create a good visual for all of the TCO14 competition tracks.
Top Screen Design Requirements
There will be rows of desks lined up behind each other (24 desks in total), please use the provided template (Tabletop_template.ai):
- Make one singular image that will be replicated on each desk without tying in to the neighboring desks' designs.
- This is how the table-top graphic will be used: http://www.flickr.com/photos/53993064@N03/8044198780/in/photostream
- We need a design that is visually attractive and embodies the competitive spirit of the entire event.
- You must have one visible TCO14 logo on the graphic - use tco14_logo.ai
- Your design must be exactly 46 inches wide and 23 inches high, with 1/4 inch bleeds. You may use the attached template (tabletop_template.ai). The imagery can bleed off the edges if you choose.
- The design will only be used on one side of the paperboard.
- The design must be able to contain the competitor's name/handle. Keep a placeholder area or text there, showing how the name can be displayed. However, the design should also be able to look good without the handle being displayed. Therefore please submit one version of the design with the competitor's name areadesigned, and one without.
- DO NOT add any additional logos, including the TopCoder logo, TopCoder Studio logo or Sponsor logos. All instances of any logos must retain the correct aspect ratio.
Fonts and Colors:
- Fonts are open to the designer. Please be aware of Studio font policy and font delivery requirements.
- Colors are open to the designer but should complement the main colors for the TCO14.
