Welcome to Brivo - Case Study and Media-Video Pages Design Challenge!!

In this challenge, we are looking for your designs for Case Studies, Media and Video Pages. Recently we had been running a few challenge to redesign Brivo.com, as a part of that - the existing designs/pages for case studies, media and video pages are being redesigned to match the look & feel and in addition we are looking for your thoughts to improve the UX of these pages.

Round 1

Purpose of this challenge is to update the existing Case study, media and video archives pages of brivo and look to redesign/improve UX based on the new designs. We are looking to display this content in a unique and innovative way to reflect the company culture. Please reference the provided design reference image to get you thinking on your designs. Please remember...we don't want to see exact copies of what we have provided for you...the images are just for reference.

Challenge Downloads:

IMPORTANT!! Design Considerations:
- Please use the Header and footer from attached designs design sources.
- For this challenge we are providing some reference images! DO NOT COPY from these exactly - they are meant to help guide you and let you understand the application we would like to see designed. Think about the the user experience/user interactions and show us your solutions!

Required Screen Sizes:
- Desktop page of size 1024 px width and height as required.
- Mobile Page of size 320 x 480 px

We need the below pages to be created..

1. Case Study:
A case study is a real world implementation example where the client's products has been successfully utilized. 
- Case Studies will be accessed from any of the solutions page.
- Note that currently each of the case study exists as a pdf and we are looking to get them into a forat in the new site design.
- Each of the case study has the below sections: 
    * The Situation
    * The Challenge
    * The Solution
    * The Highlights
    * The Product
    * Key Benefits
    * Testimonials
- Here are some sample case studies which you can use in your designs:

- We need you to design any of the two case-study from above three case-study.
- We have attached Case Study.zip in Google drive, which has some good examples of we are looking for..Please DO NOT COPY them exactly!
- Note that we can use good clean visual structure to show the content of a case study in a vertically scrolling page. 

2. Media
- Brivo's existing media page: http://www.brivo.com/about-us/media need to be redesign based on the new design look & feel.
- We will be taking content from the existing media page for brivo and will be updating the design to match the new designs look and feel.
- This page will be listing the press releases, latest news and downloads (for usage by the customers and media).
- Video sub-navigation shown in the existing page is moved as "video archive" given below...and we are picturing this looking/working the same as a blog. So the sub nav would pull up different types of "posts" that would be (press releases, news, downloads)
- Feel free to show the additional screens required for this page.
- We are looking to have a designs similar to our blog.
- Design need to be a clean and simple way of navigating media posts and files, looking forward to your design thoughts.

3. Video Archive
- We need a page that we can house all of brivo's videos on. 
- We need to make sure it is easy for users to navigate through the videos and should have the ability to search, filter and view brivo videos based on product, company, tutorial, and demos.

Submission & Source Files
Preview Image
Create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Please upload PNG images in a zip file with all requested contest requirements stated above. Number your files (01, 02, 03, etc) this will help review them in order.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator and saved as layered PSD/AI files.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics, images (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. 

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

Fonts, Stock Photos, and Icons:

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.

All submissions are screened for eligibility before the challenge holder picks winners. Don't let your hard work go to waste. Learn more about how to  pass screening.
