Challenge Summary

Welcome to the Travel Media Mobile Workflow Concept Design Challenge! As a travel-oriented business, we offer unique discounts and deals for hotel rooms. Our mobile application requires some re-thinking on how we do some of our current mobile activities. We would like you to review and design some storyboard concepts and ideas on how to improve the user and application workflow. All you need to do is to understand the design problem and provide design concepts that try and solve our workflow issues!

Challenge Requirements
The primary goal of this contest is to design mobile screens (concepts) that rework the mobile application user flow. You need to read, analyze and understand the problem in order to provide ideas that show how the new workflow works.

Design Problem
Please review "AppWorkflow.pdf"
- Note we are focused on the mobile application/flow for this challenge

Our business model is based on monthly/annual subscriptions, so we need to consistently show the hoteliers their return on investment. From the traveler standpoint, there may already be some stress points caused by traveling without a guaranteed room reservation. This can be amplified if they believe they have a deal (i.e. coupon for a room) and the hotel tells them they don’t know what to do with the coupon on their phone. At the end of the day, we lose the customer not the hotelier as the break in experience appears to be with our services.

- We need to fix the "coupon redemption" process and tracking of coupons
- The coupon redemption process needs to be simple for both travelers and hoteliers
- Assume that both the hotelier and the traveler have never received or used one of our coupons before
- When using "mobile coupons" most hotels still need a printed version to track the coupon and hotel guest
- The mobile email functionality adds additional unreliable steps to the coupon redemption process.

Concept Design Requirements
Please review "AppWorkflow.pdf"
- We have provided an initial concept/suggestions of a user flow that solves the "coupon redemption" problem.
- Read “Current User Flow” and “Coupon Redemption Flow” from Flow AppWorkflow.pdf for more details.
- As mentioned, this is an initial concept that solves the “Challenge”. HOWEVER you are encouraged to show more screens and even rethink the proposed solution to improve it.
- Think about about the design problem and think if you are the user of this application - how should it work and be an "easy" experience?

Required Screens
This is the initial set of screens we have targeted to solve this problem. Design any extra screens you might need to show how your concept works. Feel free to add design notes.
Note: We have provided the existing look and feel of their new responsive mobile application

1) Coupon Screen with “Selection” capability
2) Wallet (how might this work?)
3) Manual send option
4) Status Update (Messaging to traveler)
5) Follow up on redemption
