Welcome to the Appirio Investment Infographic Design Challenge.

The goal of this Challenge is to design 1(one) page (11x17 inch) of infographic design that explains Appirio Investment Strategies that will be presented for an Appirio Executives and Clients.

Appirio would like you to focus to transform existing presentation slide into single infographic page. How should the infographic look? What should the concepts portray to infographic in an interesting way? We are looking for the best way to design and explain this concept visually.

Infographic Design Requirements:
- Infographic Title: Appirio Investment Strategy Infographic
- Put Appirio logo (Appirio-logo.zip) in your infographic. Where's the best place for logo?
- Design needs to be easily used in a vertical format.
- Infographics theme must look clean, professional and creative.
- Your design should deliver the message of infographic, so viewers can understand the message at first sight, but design still need look exciting
- Focus on the "Infographic" aspect, show us your concepts! We are interested in what content should be shown in the poster and how it should be illustrated.
- Refer attached document (draft-appirio-presentation.pptx) for the content need designed on your infographic design.

1. Primary infographic
- “When Do We Need to Invest?” (draft-appirio-presentation.pptx > slide 5)
- This is main infographic need displayed as center of your infographic design
- We need combine/pair the timeline design with information from “LANGUAGE TO INCLUDE ON THE SUMMARY GRAPHIC” (draft-appirio-presentation.pptx > slide 1)
- Let's discuss if you have some questions about relationship between timeline and information
- Think what best way present both timeline and information at same time, perhaps think of putting the supporting text into bubbles that help explain the timeline graphic.
- Remember to keep legend information of timeline design remain same

2. Secondary Infographic
- “Why Do We Need To Invest?” (draft-appirio-presentation.pptx > slide 3)
- “What Are We Investing in?” (draft-appirio-presentation.pptx > slide 4)
- Those 2 slides above will displayed as secondary information on your infographic design
- How you design new graphic that explains the balance for slide 3?
- How you design new graphic that show overlap rounded for slide 4?
- We need put information below these 2 infographics from “DATA/SCENARIOS TO INCLUDE ON THE SUMMARY GRAPHIC” (draft-appirio-presentation.pptx > slide 2)

- Is your design engaging?
- How well you represent / convey information in your infographic design.
- Cleanliness of your graphics and design
- How well it will translate across different media, powerpoint, print, etc.
- Simplicity of design / strong, clear design concept

Branding Guidelines
Color : Use only provided color palletes (color-pallete.png)
Fonts : Open to designer, Please be aware of font delivery requirement.
Size : Width(11inch) x Height (17 inch)

Submission & Source Files

Preview Image
Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Submit JPG/PNG for your submission file at 72dpi .

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Illustrator and saved as layered AI files 300dpi.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics. As part of final fixes you may be asked to fix or update your screens to meet any missed
requirements, forum requirements or milestone requirements.

Stock Photography

Stock photography is not allowed in this challenge. All submitted elements must be designed solely by you. See this page for more details.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

Fonts, Stock Photos, and Icons:

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.

All submissions are screened for eligibility before the challenge holder picks winners. Don't let your hard work go to waste. Learn more about how to  pass screening.
