Challenge Summary

Welcome! This challenge is focused on modifying current designs for an inline visualforce display within a Salesforce1 (mobile app) page, you need to design based on the given requirements - you will be designing an area displayed within Salesforce1 known as a Mobile Card.

We have a short deadline for this design which is why the challenge prizes are higher than the expected effort.

This is a followup challenge to a design challenge that can be found here.

Definitions:

  • Salesforce1 is a mobile platform built on top of Salesforce.com. All of the data within Salesforce.com is visible in the Salesforce1 mobile apps for iOS and Android. Plus that platform is designed to allow for extensibility and customization.
  • Visualforce is the component-based user interface framework for the Force.com platform. The framework includes a tag-based markup language, similar to HTML.
  • A mobile card is an area of the enhanced page layout (in Salesforce1) where you can drag in Visualforce pages for mobile viewing. This section of the layout can be viewed from the Salesforce1 app on the related information page of a record detail view (i.e. Looking at a specfic Account).

In this project, I need you to optimize a previously created design for a mobile display using a Visualforce Mobile Card inside of Salesforce1.

The key with Salesforce1 design is that you don't have the same controls as you would with normal mobile design.

This design should be scrolled vertically on a page and should also be responsive to different mobile device (i.e. Phones, Tablets, etc).

Please see these tips on designing for Salesforce1 so you understand some limitations: Salesforce1 Visual Design

It is very important that the mobile version shows the same information and uses the same design ascetic and patterns as the layered PSD attached.
