Challenge Overview
Develop an infographic for web and print publication that provides information and review information from the ten captured categories of app testing that Applause Analytics gathers through their platform. This information is made available through a standard web based API call and is returned via a JSON payload.
Message to convey: “We understand your app and we know how to help you make it better.”
The goal of this challenge are to create an infographic targeted towards generic Apps, eventually the infographic may be targeted towards specific app types, currently this challenge is meant to be more generic.
This project will be using a design copilot as well that will help build the graphical elements for the project.
The development side of the project will be responsible for parsing the JSON to extract the needed copy that will populate the infographic and to populate areas within the graphic with this copy. More specifications on how this should be accomplished to follow.
Whatever service is created should be a web service that is called via URL with the appid passed in the URL. It will return the generated infographic.
Technologies:
While multiple solutions may be considered for this approach the client’s strongest in house skillset is that of Python and would prefer whatever solution is created be in Python.
Preferred platforms are AWS and Google App Engine
