Welcome to TLP Onboarding Packet Design Concepts Challenge for ebay. This challenge is focused on creating design concepts/visual ideas to create on-boarding materials that are bright, visually pleasing book that gives a strong visual approach to the on-boarding process.
TLP stands for Technology Leadership Program. The on-boarding book is targeted at ebay employees and will serve as an introduction to career impromvement programs that ebay employees participate in. Your design should fit within the ebay and ebay inc. brand styles, but should be fun and engaging.

Concept Description:
We would like your help in designing an onboarding packet for our client eBay. They offer development programs to their employees and this initial design concepts challenge focuses in on creating onboarding materials that each program can use to help the participants thru the onboarding process.
Since this general theme is centered around education our concept is to use the “yearbook” metaphor as a fun way to frame up our onboarding materials. You will be designing an onboarding book that is a bright visually pleasing book that gives a strong visual approach to designing onboarding processes. Utilize photography and good typography to make this a unique design that fits with in the eBay brand.
The following outline is a general framework for you to design to, but we are looking to you to determine how many pages this needs to be.

- We want the user to understand what’s going on from the first glance.
User Case Scenario:
The Target User: Internal eBay employees
Ron has recently been accepted into the TLP program at eBay. As part of his onboarding process, Ron receives an onboarding book that walks him thru what he can expect with the program and other relevant content around the TLP.
Ron is able to get answers to several key questions about the TLP including:
- What?
- Why?
- Who?
- When?
- How?
There is also program participants info cards as well as some other “yearbook” themed concept pages.
Suggested Screens:
1. Spread 1 :: Title Page
- This spread should have a strong visual introduction to the TLP. Consider using photography and simple typography for this page.
2. Spread 2 :: Table of Contents
- This spread should have a table of contents that provides page numbers to the different sections within the onboarding documents.
3. Spread 3 :: Why the TLP program?
- Why the TLP framework?
- It has 5 dimensions that combine together to form the 6th Dimension.
- Each dimension has Activities/expectations from the Host Leader.

7. Spread 7 :: Cohort Post cards
- TLP Cohorts post cards:���
The intention of this is to have a set of cards for each year of cohorts (10-20), that gives a simple and clear decryption of the each individual.
- Experience���Let personality shine through/not related to professional experience.
8. Spread 8 :: Cohort signatures
- This spread could be a yearbook themed signatures and memories for cohorts to write in at the conclusion of the program.

- How well you plan the user experience and capture your ideas visually
- Cleanliness of your graphics and design
- Your design should possible to build and make sense as a mobile application

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. We may ask you to update your design or graphics based on checkpoint feedback.
