1) Swift Tshirt

Please provide us the meaning/purpose that will help us understanding your logo if necessary.

We are looking for you to design a modern and cool design for a t-shirt that conveys the [topcoder] campaign slogan “Get Swifter”, where coders are going to compete for nice amount of prizes through developing apps with this new Swift technology from Apple. This is brand new technology, fresh, sharpen up your skills and #getswifter!

Design Requirements
1) Swift Tshirt
- Create a design for a tshirt that uses the Swift branding as inspiration. Apple already has a logo for the Swift iOS language but we’re looking for another representation that keeps the same style and branding. Another form of the logo is also on our website in the form of an origami bird.
- We are NOT asking you to copy this “Swift” bird for this logo challenge but we are asking you to represent the Swift iOS in your own representation. We ask that the design include elements/colors from the [topcoder] style guide (attached). You may also use the orange color from the Apple website in your logo design.
- Your design needs to be unique, modern, flat design (no shadows) and represent a new iOS programming language. It has to be attractive to wear on a t-shirt, stand out but not be extravagantly bright or showy.
- The tshirt must read “Get Swifter” nicely located.
- Place “powered by [topcoder]” using the logo somewhere not more prominent than the main design.
- Color of the tshirt is up to you. We’re leaving this open to imagination. Make sure to pick one good color with clear contrast with your design.
- Avoid gradients, as they will not be able to be easily reproduced across all media.

Branding and Guidelines
- Files must be created in vector format in CMYK mode. Follow the provided template to place your tshirt design.
- Fonts are open to creativity. Use them wisely to make the design attractive, not busy. Declare your fonts according to the Studio font’s policies.

Target Audience
Our target audience is developers and coders that are interested in the new Swift iOS programming language by Apple. The target audience will specifically be interested in competing in Swift programming challenges on [topcoder] and/or interested in learning how to code in Swift.

Judging Criteria
- Originality: it has to be sleek, attractive, modern and represent coding. The design has to be something coders and developers would want to wear.
- Quality: does your tshirt design look fresh, professional, and clean? Is the composition/layout well done? Have you used typography in a meaningful way?
- Concept: does your design present a new and interesting concept? Is it simple, yet memorable?
