Challenge Overview
Salesforce.com released a new Mobile SDK last week and we want you to start building Swift apps with it. Build a simple Accounts explorer that lists all of the Accounts in the org, displays the the details of the Account and lists all of the Contacts associated with the account. Also provide the functionality to create and update contacts for an account. Feel free to provide any additional #awesome functionality to sway the judges.
Make sure you include step-by-step documentation on how to use the new SDK, setup, authentication and development using the REST API.
Disclaimer: Sure... this could be done using Salesforce1 out of the box, but this is about using the new SDK.
Final Submission Guidelines
There are no restrictions on frameworks but your application will use the new Salesforce Mobile SDK and be written using Swift as much as possible. If you use Objective-C and someone else obtains the same functionality using Swift, they will be given precedence. All applications must pass the Appeals stage from other participants. If you used Objective-C or any other framework, please briefly expain the rationale and why you used it over straight Swift.
Use Xcode beta 6 or later. Upload your Xcode project with a recording of your application (using the simulator) in action showing its functionality. You can use Jing for the video as it is free.
