Challenge Summary

Welcome to the Miranda Retail - Employee Onboarding UX Design Concepts Challenge!!

In this challenge, we are looking for your mobile design concepts to simplify/improve the user experience of "onboarding" new employees. This typically process has many boring and uninteresting parts. Our goal is twofold: to speed up their experience and engage a new employee by connecting them with their new teammates while completing required actions in an enjoyable experience. We want to make the new employee feel like part of "Miranda Retail" before their day 1 in this company. Our focus is on the corporate employee for this challenge, employees working in the actual retail store will be addressed in a later effort.

To make this easier for you to jump in, we’re providing the winning designs from a previous challenge for the same kind of app, and we just need you to apply branding for Miranda Retail to the screens!

Note:  Miranda is codename of the client.

We want to showcase how easy it is to engage the [topcoder] design studio community and demonstrate how well you can take ideas and turn them into great design and user experience concepts! Cash in on this great opportunity to prove your design skills and get a great portfolio piece in the process. Best of luck to you all!

The purpose of this challenge is to come up with the initial design directions for this mobile based application that will help new employees to experience the values of becoming a part of "Miranda Retailers" corporate office before their first day. This application will make the onboarding process simple with a great user experience.

About the Onboarding Process:
Onboarding, also known as organizational socialization, refers to the mechanism through which new acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviors to become effective organizational members and insiders. You can learn more about onboarding process here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Onboarding.

Through this application, we are looking to make this process simple and effective, thereby new employee gets comfortable and feels like they are part of the company even before they join.

Design Considerations:
- We are looking for fresh, innovative and modern design concepts..
- Note that these new employees will be a part of the corporate office and not focussing on employees at the "Miranda Retailers" (client) retail stores, so think corporate in your designs!!
- Focus on the design being a great mobile experience - the application should be designed for iPhone
- Give importance to the overall layout and think on how a user would interact with the content on the page.
- Please use the logo and branding guidelines from the attached design direction document
- Remember: the focus is to provide a re-design of the provided source example based on the Miranda branding - it's not just changing colors, it's making it feel like the app belongs to Miranda!

Mobile Storyboards - Portrait View:
- Design screens for iPhone 5 portrait display (640 x 1136)
- Assume this is native iOS 7.1 application
