Challenge Description:
The purpose of the KIT APP is to allow eBay new hires to easily select their computer, order their ID badge and schedule an ergonomics review in a simple 3 step process.

Supporting Document:
- Feel Free to use the eBay Inc. logo in your designs
- Design Direction (KIT_UI_Design_Direction.pdf.zip), please don’t copy the screens provided in the design direction, use them as reference and guidance for your work.

Responsive Design Layouts:
- Desktop: 1024 px (width) and height as required
- Mobile: 640 x 1136 px

Use Case Scenario:
Bipin just landed a sweet job with eBay and is anxious to get started. Leading up to his first day on the job, Bipin receives an email informing him that he needs to select his KIT. The email includes a link to the KIT site where Bipin is guided thru 3 easy steps to select his computer, order his ID Badge, and schedule an Ergonomics evaluation.

Once Bipin clicks on the link the site knows who he is, what department Bipin works for, and will serve up options and content that are relevant to Bipin’s role within eBay. Bipin quickly browses thru the computer options, selects one or multiple depending on his job title, uploads or selects a photo for his ID badge, and schedules an appointment for his Ergonomics evaluation.

The whole process was painless and Bipin returns to the site to monitor the status of his order.

Required Screens:
1) Welcome/Get Started

- After clicking the link in an email, our user is brought to the KIT Landing/ Welcome page. This page sets the tone for how easy this process is going to be and is a good visual page that speaks to the eBay brand and new hire look and feel.

2) Select a computer
- The first step is to select a computer or computer(s). A user is able to filter and browse thru the different options available to him and can select multiple computers and then hit submit or next to be taken to the 2nd step in the process. What’s the best way to display items that are selected? Is it a “Select” button? a check box? How should selected items be highlighted? We want to see some ideas around how to clearly display this for our users.
- We’d also like to see the option to
1) allow the user to see what their team is using (we have graphical images to depict % breakdown of pc vs mac, ios vs. android, laptop vs desktop), and
2) suggest a selection(s) based on what is used most by their teammates with similar job functions.
- Please also show a computer detail screen for the mobile version

3) Employee Badge ID
- The second step in the process is to select or upload a photo for your ID badge. A user can select a photo from his computer and edit that photo on an ID Badge preview. The user can also drag and drop an image from their desktop on top of the ID badge preview field. The user can crop and resize his photo to make it look good for the badge, hit submit or next and be taken to the third step in the process.
- An additional screen to show here would be displaying some good sample photos that current eBay employees have for their ID badges.

4) Upload a Photo
- A user can select or upload a new image. A user can also use his or her device’s camera to take a new photo to use for the badge ID.

5) Confirm Photo
- A user can crop and resize their photo and then confirm their ID badge.

6) Ergonomics Evaluation
- A user can select Yes or No to scheduling an ergonomics review. If they select YES they are given options for possible dates for their ergonomics evaluation.

7) My Cart
- At the end of the process a user is taken to an order summary screen in their cart. They can review their selections, make additional comments, make edits and then hit submit to complete their order.

8) Order Confirmation
- After hitting submit...the user is shown a confirmation screen of their order and lets them know that their KIT will be waiting for them when they arrive at eBay for their first day. The user is also asked to rank their experience with the KIT site by filling out a quick survey. The display of the items from their order should be simple, have a photo of the item that they selected and a brief description.

9) Help Screen
- As part of the main navigation a user is able to click on the “Help” section to be taken to a FAQ’s page. Perhaps an option to drill down into a question might be helpful. For example, under the laptop or desktop question, it might be good to lead them to the asset data that shows the device breakdown for their organization.
