The current verigames.com website does not adequately present the science behind the CSFV program. In order to find out about the project’s scientific investigation and DARPA’s goals, users have to search the site and have access to very limited information.

User analytics have shown that most people who visit the site come from referring sites that are in the technical, computer interest and science interest genres. We get limited traffic from video game-specific sites.
Given the nature of Verigames’ gameplay mechanics and success in other crowd sourced games that have a science or academic research goal, it’s legitimate to expect many of our most successful players are “citizen scientists” who enjoy puzzles and video games, but are more interested in the Verigames project because of the potential outcome of the project rather than the actual games themselves.

To be more successful with this demographic, we need to make the science behind the project more visible, more accessible and more digestible for our users. Some users are interested in scholarly articles that thoroughly analyze specific CSFV methodologies used by certain games. Others are interested in the computer science of formal verification in general. Still others are interested in U.S. government involvement in crowd sourcing, video game development and the search for answers to technology problems.

These users have different levels of engagement in the project, different amounts of time to spend and different preferences for information gathering. We will best serve them by providing a breadth of information in a variety of forms: bibliography, scholarly articles, media articles, blog posts, podcasts, blurbs, infographics, images with captions, etc.

The Verigames site should clearly show where users can find scientific information. That information should be organized in a way that’s easy to understand, well labeled and kept up to date.

Branding Guidelines
- Your design width should be in size 960px maximum. No limit for height, up to your design size.
- Fonts: Open to designer.
- Colors: The colors must compliment the CSFV Color Theme. See our current site design theme: http://verigames.com/
- CSFV Design Resources: These file contains original source files like icons, theme, page design, and any graphics that might can re-use as materials for this challenge.
