Challenge Summary

Welcome to the 2015 Topcoder Open Logo Variation Design Challenge! We would like to see variations on the winners of the TCO15 Logo Design Challenge, we are selecting FIVE winners and one of these variations will be selected as the final logo for the prestigious 2015 Topcoder Open!

We are providing you with the two winning logos from the 2015 Topcoder Open Logo Design Challenge.

We like both these logos, but would like to see some variations on them - that could mean a variation on either one of the logos, or a mashup of the two, or maybe something completely different that's inspired by these two.

Design Direction:
See the attached TCO15 Logo Winners.zip:
- The graphic execution and typography of the first-place winning logo is something we like, but it looks too similar to or reminiscent of the Windows operating system, so we would like something that looks distinctive.
- The concept and the typography of the second-place logo is good, but we would like the graphics to have more pizzazz and look more attractive.

Design Requirements:
Please use the attached template - Template.zip to create your logo:
- Logo in Color (on white)
- Logo in Color (on black)
- Logo in grayscale

We will be selecting 5 (five) winners of 100$ each, so go ahead and submit all your ideas, we're looking forward to your creative designs!

- Fonts are open to the designer, just be aware of Studio font policy. DO NOT include any font files in your submission or source files.

Feel free to explain how these criteria are met, or what your idea behind the design process is - as a text file/notes in your submission.
- Relevance:  How does your logo "fit" within the tournament? As in, the tournament of as a whole: the competitions, the competitors, the prestige, the excitement, etc. This is very important.
