Challenge Summary

Welcome to the BlueSky Mobile UI Design Challenge!

The purpose of this challenge is to produce an Application that can be used on a tablet and accessed via a Kiosk (public device available for people to use and access webpages/apps - tablet in this case) and used by new and existing candidates.

This app will allow candidates to register their details, upload their CV and relevant information to help them get placed in the appropriate roles, in addition they will be able to do the following:
- View and amend personal details
- Search, view and apply for job opportunities
- Raise issues and provide feedback for current assignments
- Request holiday

BlueSky Resourcing has many years of experience in delivering recruitment services and today is recognized as one of the largest and most successful recruitment services providers; pioneering leading edge approaches to delivering complex staffing initiatives and outsourced recruitment services.
BlueSky Resourcing provide blue collar resources for its clients on a permanent, temporary or contract basis.
For the purpose of this challenge candidates who are placed to work at clients are then referred to as ‘Workers’ and deliver their services to the end client but are contracted and therefore pay-rolled by BlueSky Resourcing.

The underlying system is Salesforce.com so any information entered and viewed through the App will sit in Salesforce and recruitment consultants will use Salesforce to view any data that has been entered by the candidate.

Please read the contest specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this contest.

Design guide:
We need the screens designed for iPad Landscape Standard resolution  - 1024x768 px @ 72DPI.
- Colors and Fonts are open to the designer.
- Logo - BlueSky is the codename for our project - please design a simple logo that will be used as a placeholder. Don’t spend too much time on this, think about the UI and UX of the pages, that is the important part. The client prefers these shades of blue: #004E73 and #4EAEE2
- We are looking for you to come up with clean and simple layout.
- The mobile application is to be used via a kiosk and the interface needs to be useable via a tablet screen interface and be simple and intuitive to use.
One of the key requirements is that the app be simple and intuitive to use as some of the candidate may not be very computer literate.
