Project Brief
A major retailer, famous for selling clothing, decor, media, even furniture, is embarking on a large scale re-branding and defining their existence into 4 main categories. These 4 categories :
1. Women's
2. Mens's
3. Kids
4. Home
Represent our client focus. They are separate, but each feed (related) into each other just like art feeds music, music feeds fashion, fashion feeds home decor and so on.

Project Goals

The Seen Mobile App is an incredible channel for our client to:

- Understand their users true likes and stylings based on their real-world experiences that moved them

- Deliver exceptionally curated suggestions to engaged consumers

- Greatly extend the retail relationship with the consumer by providing a fun, discovery-driven, mobile solution

- Create an extremely sticky loyalty rewards system that drives further brand awareness, sharing, and revenue, via a supremely elegant solution that gamifies a behavior the user is already doing on a daily basis

- Build a unique content channel that helps their brand create a community of prosumers who both consume their product and produce viable content for the brand in a seamless, mutually beneficial manner

User Scenario
- Our client is looking for a beautiful and simple mobile application experience that allows a user to capture images that inspire them via a mobile photo upload, and then the mobile app will curate specific recommendations for the user to consider in each of the 4 main categories that client focuses on.

- As the user adds more photos to the SEEN application, the app learns the users preference and the recommendations and style of goods evolves over time, becoming ever more unique to that users true style.

- In addition, the user is rewarded for each and every photo upload they make, so the application contains a focused and very relevant gamification element that allows a user to earn rewards, points, discounts to goods that match their unique style, simply by doing something they do nearly every day - take photos with their phone. The app needs to cleanly showcase the idea of getting closer to a reward. It needs to be super, super simple and visual. Example - every 8th photo you upload, a reward of some kind is earned. Visualizing what it looks like when a user is on their way to earning, and then how a specific offer is earned and presented will be key to this design. Keep in mind, this does not mean a separate ‘rewards’ tab is necessarily needed - in fact, it might be more elegant and useful if the reward status (how close you are to that next reward) was baked into the very design of the elements on the home screen. This is a major part of a successful app concept.

- After a user uploads a photo and their personal suggestions emerge before their eyes, users can easily shop from the app and make what become emotional, in the moment purchases OR they can save curated and suggested offerings easily in a special ‘bin’ area. The user would of course be able to visit their ‘Style Bin’ any time they like and moving items in and out of the bin needs to be super intuitive, easy, and fun!

- Finally, there is a social element. Much like on Instagram where you can ‘heart’ an image by tapping twice on the screen, here you can ‘See’ an image in a similar fashion. It informs the person who took the image of your approval AND because you “See” the image, you also are shown the offerings and goods that were presented to the original person - because you like their style. Tying social to the gamification element, it would be very cool if you can earn rewards (get closer to a reward) because somebody “See”s your image. They thought you had good taste and because of that you get the bonus reward (points, however it will be visualized)

Suggested Screens :

00. Navigation Solution
- Provides us a clear navigation concept for this application.
- Please design a navigation solution that would be easy/engaging for a the application user!
- Navigation items should include: Profile, Rewards, Bins, Take a Photo, Men's, Women's, Kids, Home, Cart

01. Splash Screen
- Provide us some cool design for the splash screen.
- Simple logo for the "SEEN" application.
- Loading bar indicates application is launching.
- Explore how this page needs to build/interact.
- Explore a simple logo mark for your APP design
Variations on the word “Seen” could also include: CïN, Ceen, SëN

02. Dashboard Screen
- What makes sense to be on the dashboard? (keep it simple)
- Suggested images for the user based on items they have uploaded or selected as "seen"
- Set Profile?
- Main navigation?
- Summary of user activity in the apps?
- Big icons to go to upload images screen?
- Rewards infographic?

03. Upload Images Screen
- A screen where user have ability to upload images/picture from their camera, from others image apps (pinterest, instagram, flickr, etc) or from their phone image directories.
- Some scenario, you are walking along in a new city and you notice a sculpture that simply blows you away. You take a photo from your phone and instead of just sending it to Instagram or Facebook, you instead (or also) send it to SEEN apps.
- Think of simplicity for this screen to simplify our user take/upload the images.

04. Recommendations Screen
- - After user takes/uploads an image to the SEEN app, a smart algorithm embedded to SEEN apps will 'think' for a few seconds to curate a recommendations for you (create us some loading/'think' screen). **For the purpose of this challenge, let’s assume the smart algorithm already exists as the purpose of this challenge is to just create the potential mobile user experiences by showcasing them visually and in a beautifully intuitive manner.
- The result will show a beautiful screen in tiles emerge layout, each of which are an instantly curated products recommendations from our client, in each of the 4 main categories we mentioned at the top that are important to this brand.
- Gamification feature in this step: As the user decides if he will tap any of the 4 squares, he would automatically see some subtle hue gradient within the 4 tiles, letting the user know how close he was to the next reward. (discount, coupon, etc.) Think of including a reward infographic on the interaction or hover state of one of these 4 tiles that shows the user how close they are to aceiving a reward.
- Tapping on one of the 4 tiles will take a user to a screen that contains images relate to their photo as categorized by (Men's, Women's, Kid's, or Home)

05. Category/ Product Offerings
- The user can quickly scan this mostly visual screen by product photography and the offerings, which look beautiful but don’t show a user all the detail they will need, are joined on screen by very few descriptive words in a light font that entices the user to tap one of the 4 squares and see this offering in more detail. Driven by curiosity and because the app uses elements of discovery, the user taps one of the tiles and the offered good with a larger copy description and price takes over the screen as the other 3 tiles tumble away as if guided off ‘camera’ by a smooth wind.
- User can see who has uploaded the photo, can mark the item as "SEEN" similar to a FB "Like"
- User can tap into the item to reveal the item details

06. Product Details Screen
- Content for this screen will be a larger copy of product description and it's price.
- There should be some navigation for user to go to the next screen / Offering Screen.
The user then can examine the curated offer and do one of 3 things:

Buy it (tap screen to begin purchase process)

Bin it (swipe right to add to user’s personal “Style bin”)

Bury it (by swiping left the user expresses he isn’t interested in this item)

**Each action, much like the Pandora music algorithm, changes the curation algorithm as buy and bin are positive actions and bury is a negative one.

07. Check out Screen
If user triggered:
- Buy It - a very simple/elegant check out process begins (with the Credit Card on file being used automatically) and a graphical representation of any rewards or points associated with this purchase (like a discount due to rewards points) – the user should be 1-tap away from finalizing this purchase!
- Bin It – User is taken to Visual 'Style Bin' page – simple, organized tiled visual that carries over color schemes representing the 4 major categories the brand is focused on. (User can easily explore their bin or exit the app at this time)
- Bury it – User is offered a simple choice to either effortlessly exit the application or see 1 of the remaining 3 curated offers in more detail
- Needs to add some social elements here, share the product images to other user in the applications, if they like/heart it, user will get rewards if someone that using the apps see their images or like it.

Important:
- Keep things consistent. This means all graphic styles should work together.
- All of the graphics should have a similar feel and general aesthetic appearance
