Challenge Summary

Welcome to the Helsinki - iPhone/iPad Event App Design Concepts Challenge. In this challenge, we are looking to design an iPhone and iPad event application. We host various events, with various breakout sessions within, for which our clients can register and attend. We want to build an interactive experience for the clients attending the event sessions. Clients using the application would be considered VIP's, so we'd like the mobile experience to have a "premium" feel to it.

At the end of this challenge, we are looking for a modern, clean design that captures the requested user interactions

Note: Helsinki is a codename for this project.

Challenge Details
The purpose of this challenge is to create design concepts and ideas on how our future Helsinki iPhone/iPad "Event" application could look and work.

Design Guidelines:
- Looking for modern, intuitive user interface - application should be easy to use.
- Focus on the design being a great mobile experience - the application should be designed for iPhone and iPad.
- Note: iPhone: All client facing screens should be for iPhone.
- Note: iPad: All host facing screens should be for iPad.

- Both the iphone and ipad experience should look similar and feel like they belong to the same application.
- Give importance to the overall layout and think on how a user would interact with the content on the page.
- Show all the screens and provide a user flow/click-path so we can see how the interactions fit together in the application.
- Logo: IF you have time - suggest a simple logo for the application (to accent your design)
- The primary color for the app and logo should be #00ADEE or near it. Different lighter or darker hues can be used as well to compliment.

Screen Sizes:
- Assume this is native iOS application
- User Screens: iPhone Portrait: 640 x 1136 px
- Host Screens:  iPad Landscape: 2048 x 1536 px

User Scenario:
John Doe, one of the marketing managers at a leading corporation decides to attend an event in New York. He visits the event website and learns about the iPhone app that allows him to register with the event. John downloads and install the app on his iPhone.

He browses through the app and sees a list of events along with their agendas. He selects the event that he wants to attend and quickly goes through their agendas - he taps on a button to register for the event by typing a few required profile details, as this is the first time john is using this app, it allows him to save his profile details within the app. He see a list of breakout sessions in the event, one of the session seems to interest him - so he selects and confirms to attend that session.

John checks-in on reaching the event venue at kiosk/terminal, after he checks-in - he immediately receives entire details about the event and sessions in his app!  John finds other clients near him on a map and also messages them. Before a session, John gets the presentation materials, quickly takes notes during a session and save it for future reference. Also he takes part in a polling during the session.

Whenever John arrives at certain areas throughout the event, iBeacons notifiy nearby hosts of his presence.  These hosts have access to an admin iPad interface that displays what John is registered for as well as his profile.  These hosts are able to find John easily and engage with him to see if they can be of any assistance.
