Welcome to Appirio EMEA Sales - Presentation Challenge - Part 2. In this simple challenge, we are looking to your help in creating a presentation based on the given document.

We are basically looking for your help on splitting the content in the document to be shown in different slides and follow the existing presentation styles.
At the end of this challenge, we are looking a simple and cool presentation (PPT/PPTX).

In this challenge, we have shared a document that needs to converted to a presentation - this has a list of below sections:
1. Rationale of crowdsourcing
2. Introduction to Appirio Crowdsourcing Platform
3. Case Studies
4. Phased Approach to Adoption
5. FAQs

This document (EMEA Sales.docx) has content distributed as five sections, we are looking for your ideas to create a presentation by splitting the content into various slides and also need to utilize existing designs assets from any of the attached presentations/sources.

Presentation Considerations (IMPORTANT!!):
- Please follow the current styling of slides from the attached PPT:
** “IBM Mobile First ISS FIT.pptx” (source files provided)
** “topcoder.pptx” (All elements in this ppt will be editable and you can also grab design elements by editing the master slide)

- You can look to reuse any design assets that has been supplied for the designs in PPT.
- Please do not use any images from the above PPT as they may not be appropriate for this presentation but you can look to add any relevant stock photos and make sure to follow the existing styles.
- You can look to include topcoder/appirio logo (source files attached) wherever appropriate, please see existing presentations for reference.
- “Required Slides” should give you a basic idea and helps you understand each of the sections in the “EMEA Sales.docx”, please refer the document for exact content.
- You are encouraged to go through the EMEA Sales.docx and simplify the content for this presentation and look to just add highlights/summary for each of the section, we are open to suggestions on this, just make sure the content you add in the presentation makes sense!
- For each of the “section title” slide, you can reuse the appropriate style based on the attached presentation/design assets.

Required Slides:
We need below slides in the presentation…below just shows overall sections within the document, you are free to add more number of slides per section based on the content in "EMEA Sales.docx"

0. Main Title Slide:
- Include a main title slide with name "The Appirio Crowsourcing Community", also look to inlcude the author information!
- Please look to resue some slide designs from the given PPT's.

1. The Rationale of Crowdsourcing:
- Have a section title slide
- This section explains the issues in current corporate world and how crowdsourcing can overcome those issues.
- Note that we are running a challenge in parallel to design graphics based on these concepts and we will be looking to merge design concepts from that challenge into this PPT..so we are just looking for suggestion on how to split the content in the document into different slides and you may follow existing presentation styles.

1.3 An Alternate Sourcing Model

For above sub-sections, you can look to just add highlights/summary for each of them in a separate slide, we are open to suggestions on how content need to organized in the ppt. Feel free to add additional slides as required.

2. Introduction to Appirio Crowdsourcing Platform:
- Have a section title slide
- This section explains about Appirio Crowdsourcing platform..
- Note that we are running a challenge in parallel to design graphics based on these concepts and we will be looking to merge design concepts from that challenge into this PPT..so we are just looking for suggestion on how to split the content in the document into different slides and you may follow existing presentation styles.
- We have five sub-sections under this section:

2.1 What it is
2.2 What it delivers
2.3 Business Case Drivers
2.4 Why it is Unique
2.5 Who is using it

For above sub-sections, you can look to just add highlights/summary for each of them, we are open to suggestions on how content need to organized in the ppt. Feel free to add additional slides as required.

3. Case Studies:
- Have a section title slide
- We would like you to reuse styles for this section, please have a look at slide 14 in "IBM Mobile First ISS FIT.pptx", we would like to have this as a base for case-study slide and at the bottom of this slide i.e. below “The Problem, The Solution and the iPad image” please show the statistics/metrics (Registration, countries, days, winners, submissions, cost) as shown in slide 15 (at the bottom)
- Statistics/metrics details for each of the challenge types could differ, please look to capture them based on the details given in the document.
- We have four sub-sections under case-studies, may be you can look to show sub-section title somewhere in the each of the case-study slide..sub-sections are:
- - Design Challenge (Comcast, Humana Vitality)
- - Development Challenge (Brivo Labs, Honeywell)
- - Data Science Challenge (Harvard Medical School, United States EPA)
- - Multiple Challenge Examples (eBay, Experian, IBM, NASA)
- We had shared the images of few case study, please use them in your presentation and use appropriate device frames (iPad, iPhone, Desktop etc.. - these devices images can be found in the topcoder.pptx - edit as master slide) to showcase the designs.
- For certain case study, we currently don’t have the screens - so please use a placeholder and add a picture-box within the device frame so that allows us to add an image)
- For certain other case-studies, we won't be showing images (for example: data science challenges)  wont have a image, just think on how we can best show the details for these.

4. Phased Approach to Adoption:
- Have a section title slide.
- This section need to shows the different phases of adoption..
- Note that we are running a challenge in parallel to design graphics based on these concepts and we will be looking to merge design concepts from that challenge into this PPT..so we are just looking for suggestion on how to split the content in the document into different slides and you may follow existing presentation styles.

5. Frequently Asked Questions:
- Have a section title slide.
- You may use any existing slide styles for each of the FAQ’s and look to design icons, visuals/graphics (optional) wherever you think it could provide better clarity of information to the person viewing the presentation.

- Capability to explode the initial concept into a presentation.
- Originality and execution of content within slides.
- How well you had captured details using existing presentation styles

Submissions & Source File Requirements:
Submission File
Please submit presentation (ppt, pptx) file for review..

Source Files
Please submit presentation (ppt, pptx) and if you had designed any graphics, you may need to submit the original source files created in Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator and saved as layered files (PSD or AI respectively).

Preview Image
Create a 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode and place a screenshot from your submission within it.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase, you may be asked to modify any slide design styles/graphics or change the sequence of information put up in the slides.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.
