Challenge Summary

Welcome to the Cardinal Health Experience Center (HEC) - Mobile Application Design Concepts Challenge. We are excited to see what concepts and ideas you have for our “Cardinal Health Experience Center" mobile application. The ultimate goal of this Concepts Challenge is to focus on creating an “event” type mobile application that our customers can use to experience our “Cardinal Health Experience Center” in a friendly and unique way.

The Cardinal Health Experience Center (HEC) is a building on our corporate campus where current and potential customers can come and explore their projects and our services and offerings. The HEC will be very interactive and engaging. We are looking to plan out (create some concepts) around what the mobile experience would be for a customer who is planning to visit us and explore the HEC.

Challenge Details
Customers will download this application prior to their visit to the Experience Center. This application will educate user about the new Experience Center and help users plan/schedule meetings. These meetings are broad in scope and might be attended by a number of top-level executives. The focus of this application should be in providing an excellent experience for executives.

Design Expectations:
- Looking for modern, FLAT, intuitive user interface - application should be easy to use.
- Please follow the branding colors and design influence from the attached PDF’s - think executives!
- Focus is on the design being a great user experience
- Give importance to the overall layout and think on how a user would interact with the content on the page.
- Show all the screens and provide a user flow/click-path, so we can see how the interactions fit together in the application (for presenting and understanding the flow)
- Make sure all your icons/graphics are vectors, so it helps us convert your storyboards to any required size!

We are looking to design the listed screens. Feel free to add any screens that you think will help the experience.

0. Welcome Screen:
- We would like you to come up with an appealing design for this screen! 
- User will have option to tour Experience Center, main purpose of this screen is to help educate the user about the Experience Center.
- This screen could have images, videos or a map that shows the view of the experience center and what the user can expect out of this experience center!
- Please go through the attached “experience center” pdf to get started with your design thoughts.
- Come up with thoughts on what other information would help here?

1. Check in:
- We need the ability for the user to check in for an event through this app
- When they arrive they can check-in and let them know they have arrived

- This could give the host a confirmation when an executive arrives for their meeting.
- This can also update the guest on any updates or changes in their plans


2. HEC Agendas:
- Agendas are customized for each particular participant
- Agendas are created for each meeting with common information and participants are “joined” or “linked” to a specific meeting agenda.
- “Standard” agenda format is stored and can be modified and saved - (standard format can be customized for specific topics/ times/description of activities/speakers)
- User can click/tap on speaker name to view the speaker details.
- They will have option to register / schedule for a meeting!
- Agendas are available for a limited amount of time prior and after the event date, when the agenda is no longer available for review it can be archived.

3. HEC Kiosks:
- This would contain information for the user as they walked through the Cardinal Health Experience Center.
- Content could appear based on their location within the HEC
- A user could explore this content before arriving at the Experience Center (similar to exploring Disney World content on their mobile application)

4. Executive Bio/Profile:
- Biography of the user can be shown here..
- We need to show some background details about the guest (Name, Date of Birth, Place of Work, Designation, About them..etc..)
- We would like you to think on the useful information that can be shown in this page.

5. Directions/Map:
- Map screen can contain links to navigation tools and should show an address of the meeting location as well as contacts of the meeting coordinator and others to allow easy contact
- General location information and background will be presented information for the specific meeting
- We will need to include a map, address where a meeting is being held and contacts (meeting coordinator and other contacts)
- User can request additional information or clarification about their specific meeting schedule, time etc.
- Destination City Points of Interest should give information about the meeting city information can be linked to the application for sporting schedules or attraction web pages

6. Lodging Screen:
- Lodging screen has the details about the hotel that has been arranged by the meeting coordinator
- This also has other general information about the nearby hotel offering lodging.

7. Meals/Dietary Request: (optional)
- The food that has been arranged by the meeting coordinator is displayed in this page.
- Once the coordinator had created the menu for a meeting then it will be displayed.
- Specific menu information can be shown for the attendee
- Attendee can place specific dietary request and mention about the food they are allergic to.

Submission & Source Files:
Preview Image
Create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Please upload PNG images in a zip file with all requested contest requirements stated above. Number your files (01, 02, 03, etc) this will help review them in order.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator and saved as layered PSD/AI files.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics, images (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. 

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
