Challenge Overview
Project Overview
This project is aimed at creating a Web Based Mobile Application that allows users to check out our clients product catalog, fit guides, videos and a lot more.
Challenge Overview
Earlier we ran a challenge that provides us with the Server Components of a MEAN.io application. We also ran a challenge that provided us with the UI Prototype of the application design.
This challenge focuses on connecting the UI Prototype with the server components of the MEAN.io application
Challenge Details
Fork the repository mentioned in the challenge forum (visible post registration). You will work off the radiogeraet-api package.
Rename it to just "radiogeraet".
Use the UI Prototype provided and update it to connect with the server components. You may need to update the UI itself to display data fetched from the server.
You can check out the '/docs' route to access the swagger specification which describes the routes.
Additional Points
- We run our challenges off Gitlab. Links are provided in the challenge forum and are available post registration. Reply to that discussion with your Gitlab handle to get access to the same.
- We have tests on the server side. We don't expect tests on the client side.
- The focus of this challenge is on the public components of the radiogeraet-api package. The server components should already have all the routes you need. If not, please mention it in the forum
- The swagger specification mentions the routes for authentication and authorization. These point ot the in-built authentication provided by MEAN.io
- This challenge has some short phases after submission phase ends. Please familiarize yourself with the timelines so as to not miss out on important phases.
Final Submission Guidelines
You are supposed to create a fork of the repository and work on your fork. When submitting, submit a zip of your source code and a text file that contains the location of your fork.
The winning submission will be asked to create a pull request. So commit frequently and push your changes before the deadline.
Any changes carried out after the deadline will result in your submission being disqualified.
You will be informed about the handles which you need to add to your fork to grant access to your fork and help with the review.
