Challenge Summary

Welcome to the Salesforce Workspace Wireframe Challenge.  In this challenge, we are looking to have a custom homepage in Salesforce, presented at the beginning of each SFDC session, with key information for users in order to plan daily selling activities and sales performance monitoring.  We are calling this the “Workspace” for the Sales User. We want this to be a visually stunning page that attracts the users to it, and use it for their daily work as well as future planning!

It’s critical to think about a clean user experience for desktop view not requiring the Salesforce Cloud Console.

Round 1

Submit the following for Checkpoint feedback
1. Workspace for both user views.
Notes.jpg: Any comments about your design for the Client

Round 2

Final wireframe plus any Checkpoint feedback:
1. Workspace for both user views.
Notes.jpg: Any comments about your design for the Client

Challenge Details:
The goal of this challenge is to build a "Workspace" that allows a user to go to one place to see all of the important information that they need to see on a day-to-day basis for Salesforce.

We need to design this partner profile for desktop; the user experience should be optimized for it.

Wireframe Expectations:
- Produce HTML click through wireframes that can be used to demonstrate all mentioned functionalities as required in each round.
- The website must be very easy to use and intuitive. Keep that in mind when designing your solution.
- You MUST cover all screens mentioned in required new sections below, if any requirement is missing in final submission the client will not take a look at it, so make a checklist for the required screens to make sure you designed all of them.
- Please show us your proposal as a movie or series of wireframes that communicate the user’s intended interaction with your proposed solution.
- You MUST use wireframes note pane in every single page you design to explain what items are addressed in that page from the documentation, what things you added/changed/removed, use it to make your idea clearer and help the client to give you constructive feedback.

Supporting Documents:
- The attached document (Workspace - Wireframe.docx) outlines a Salesforce based mockup that was initially created that has elements that the Workspace needs. The intent is to NOT replicate this document, but to connect the dots between the mockup and the wireframe you create.
- (Sample_WS.pdf) has some design elements that we like as well but should not be directly copied.

Screen Size:
- Desktop: size of 1024px width and height as required.

User Scenario:
- Kelsey is a sales representative.
- She clicks Workspace Tab in Salesforce. (No need to include this in your solution, assume she clicked on it)
- Page renders for the current user all the important information.
- Heath is Kelsey’s manager and wants to review her performance and other sales representatives performance from data in Salesforce.
- Heath can select a different user for the page to render as.
- Page refreshes and re-calculates if a new user is selected.

Wireframe Requirements:
1. Workspace Page:
A. Sales Rep User View:
Sales representative open this page to view all-important information:
- Chatter Feed.
- Alerts - automated items that tell the user something has happened or has not happened in the system.
- Calendar - Show the next 7 days of calendar items.
- My Activities
- My Goal Tasks - All open Tasks related to my Goals.
- My Procedures - Graphs showing:
-- Validated Historical Procedures by Hospital.
-- Validated Historical Procedures by Surgeon.
-- Validated Procedures by Specialty.
-- Procedures Scheduled by Hospital.
-- Validated + Scheduled Procedures by Hospital.
-- Quarterly Quota by Hospital.
-- Quarterly Quota by Specialty.
-- Advanced Instrument Usage by Territory.
-- Surgeon Lifecycle.
- My Opportunities.
- My Sales Performance.

B. Manager User View:
- The layout and content of this view will be identical to sales representative view.
- Managers will then use this page to review Sales user performance with the sales representative monthly and quarterly.
- Ability to change the user of the page so managers can view their sales representative data.

Target Users:
- Sales Users and their Managers. Each Sales user will use this dashboard in Salesforce to view their performance and items that are important. Their manager will then use this page to review Sales user performance with the rep monthly and quarterly.

Judging Criteria:
- User Experience of Workspace.
- Completeness and accuracy of the wireframe as defined in the spec requirements.
- How well your wireframes provide a consistent user flow.
