The Purpose of this challenge is to come up with the redesign the look & feel and flow of the existing application We are looking for the Topcoder Design Community to help us with planning our new "user experience" (UX).

We had provided the existing screens for content references, please DO NOT COPY the look & feel and this challenge’s purpose is to redesign them with better flow and design!

Design Considerations:
- Looking for modern, intuitive user interface
- We need the designs to be clean and simple, easy to interact!
- We like the Evernote UI, we would like you to get hands on with Evernote application (Register as a free user to try it out) and come up with thoughts similar to that but please DO NOT COPY
and note that you are designing this for solar.
- Focus on the design being a great user experience, think simple but effective solutions!
- Give importance to the overall layout and think on how a user would interact with the content on the page.
- Show all the screens and provide a user flow/click-path and navigation, so we can see how the interactions fit together in the application
- How should this mobile application look?
- What should the priority features be and how quickly could you find information?
- Stock Photos: Feel free to use any images related to this concept.

Design Size:
This app will designed for the native mobile environment (android and iOS) and this challenge focuses on iOS:
- 750 x 1334 (iPhone 6 Portrait)

Required Pages:
We are looking for the below pages to be designed/considered in your concepts..
Note: We have given corresponding page numbers references of the attached PDF for below use cases!

1. Login (page 13):
- User will need to enter username/password to login into the app.
- If user didn’t previously register, then they will have option to “Register” with the application.
- If the user has forgotten their password, then they will have the ability to request new password!

2. Register (page 14):
- A user will be able to register themselves with the application
- Minimum details that will be required for registration can be captured from page 14 and 15..
- Come up with thoughts on how to design this page!

3. Home Screen (page 19):
- This screen provides quick links to list of tasks that a user need to have as a part of this app.
- Existing screen can be seen in page 19, we need a better way to represent this information.

4. Create New Site Survey Report (page 18 - 37):
- User will enter all the information necessary to create a complete solar site survey report.
- Currently in the existing app, a user needs to tap “Save” after entering details in each of the below screens - we would like to have your thoughts on how this can be simplified? do you think an auto-save would work here in addition to the explicit “Save” button?
- In order to create a new survey, a user will enter project data, installation data, design information and also the structure type specific data, please see below on the expectations on what/where it can be improved..
- We need a way for the user to “save the data” in progress as a draft, how can it be done?

Project Data, Installation Data and Design Information:
- User enters Project data (page 21 - 26), installation data (page 28 - 30), design information (page 32 - 33), currently we don’t have sequential flow of information.
- Would it be good to provide a better flow of information? (perhaps wizard approach?)
- We would like you to come up with thoughts on how to simplify the overall flow of information.
- Need to improve overall forms shows in each of the steps.
- Add video/images, we need to make this very intuitive and modern, they should be able to either select available images/videos or capture a new video/image. Existing methods looks too old!

Pitched, Flat Roof and Ground Mount: (page 36)
- Based on the structure type entered/selected in project data, a user need to configure corresponding structure type.
- Need to improve overall forms shows in each of these steps.
- Add video/images, we need to make this very intuitive and modern, they should be able to either select available images/videos or capture a new video/image. Existing methods looks too old!

Submit Now for Project Drawing:
- Once all the above information are completed, a user will submit the report for “project drawing”
- Based on how you approach the above, for ex: if you are planning to use wizard approach, maybe we can show a completion status on the above steps and then make the user click “Submit Now for Project Drawing”

5. View Survey Calendar (page 50):
The “Survey Calendar” feature helps you keep track of the dates you visited sites and estimated installation dates for all your solar projects.
- We are looking to improve the overall user experience on how a user views the calendar

6. View Reports (page 52 and 53):
- This screen allows the user to view a list of all their reports..
- Reports will have details similar to the what they entered while creating a new survey report.
- Should a user access their draft reports from this screen, how do you think the new flow should be designed?
- Feel free to show your thoughts on how this screen can be designed.

7. View Map of Sites (page 55):
- Allow users to view a map and then show a number of pins within the map indicating that they had visited those sites.
- Tapping on each of the PIN should show more information about the site
- User can view the Map of the site, should this be clubbed along with the report view i.e. should they be able to view the site on a map for each of the corresponding reports?

8. Contact Us (page 57):
- We need this screen to more efficient and should have easy access to it
- This screen need to list some of the important details as given below
* Support Phone Number
* Helpdesk Feedback (a link/button to give feedback)
* FAQ’s (a link/button to FAQ page)
* Social Networking Links (Google +, Twitter, Facebook, etc)

Target Audience:
- Independent Solar Agents and Sales Professionals

- Cleanliness of your graphics and design
