Currently, Cubify.com and the Cubify app present the below methods of presenting and interacting with content. The key part of this challenge is to assess and re-examine the current paradigms, with the goal to re-introduce, modify or even completely rework the current systems. We’re not weighting any one approach, but looking for the best solution.

About Cubify:
Cubify is the central hub for all things possible with the 3D printed lifestyle. Cubify is a community inspiring the latest in 3D design and printing possibilities and access to the easiest home 3D printers and related products. Cubify offers everything from co-creation with favorite brands, a curated shopping experience centered around personalized fashion, décor, toys and more.

Branding Guidelines:
We had shared cubify style guide and also wi
ll need to look at the existing Cubify App and Desktop environments to get familiar with both:

Style Guide:
See provided style guide for Cubify site and brand.

Web/Desktop:
- Current Cubify Design - please use imagery, content, look and feel and inspiration from this site www.cubify.com
- Attached existing pages for which we are looking for new/better designs.

App/Desktop:
Download Mac/Windows version at http://cubify.com/en/Cube/Activate

Mobile:
Look at the Cubify app via the iOS App Store or Google Play:
iOS:  https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cubify/id917671806?mt=8
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.threedsystems.cubify&hl=en

Content Network Overview:
Cubify allows users to access 3D content, whether it be their own, content uploaded by the community or content added and curated by Cubify itself. From the Cubify cloud network, Users can then print directly to their Cube printer at home or access high-quality prints directly from Cubify and 3D Systems..please see attached image "
Content Network Overview.png"

Creative Considerations:
We want to see how you draw inspiration from shopping and content network UX, like an Amazon or Zappos experience. Take note of how they serve up content in a responsive way.
Take a look at how other sites like Gilt.comPinterestDribbble  or Behance are showing content on their site and mobile. These are good examples of where we want to take Cubify.
- The experience should be intuitive to browsing and being inspired by content, casual consumers of 3D printing, as well as professional/experienced users.
- The design should also include potential hooks to attract and grow community. Think about ways to encourage users to contribute and share content
- The design should encourage curiosity and exploration.
- The design should be well thought out and scalable to possible future platforms.

Design Considerations:
- Please use the provided look and feel assets when creating your designs. The Cubify font is Myriad Pro.
- Create it for desktop & mobile
---- Desktop: 1024px width with height adjusting accordingly
---- Mobile: Use standard screen size / portrait aspect ratio, 1080x1920 (9:16) - This is the most commonly use android screen resolution!

- Keep things consistent. This means all graphic styles should work together, All of the graphics should have a similar feel and general aesthetic appearance and look like the 3D Systems brand.

Things we’d like to see..
Content Browser:
New interaction models that provide an easy way to navigate the rich content libraries that Cubify provides, incorporating:
- User Uploaded content
- Branded content contributed by third party partners.
- Curated content launched as Cubify collections.

Think about how a Pinterest or other feed related sites display content responsively and look to best practices for our Cubify experience.

Content Organization:
New ways of organizing individual 3D printed files as well as multi-part “projects” as contributed by Users

Discovery:
Discovery tools or navigation models that enable users to explore content possibilities that encourages engagement to buy, create or print 3D content. Discovery should be both ACTIVE (searching) and PASSIVE (browsing).

Seamless UX across all devices:
The Interaction model should persist and make sense across both app and browser environments.

Required Pages:
We need below pages to be designed..

1) The Design Feed:
- The Design Feed is THE Community area on Cubify.
- Design Feed is an inspirational live stream of what others are printing and designing, access free content, and share their own prints and aspirational prints.
- The Design Feed is a non-curated part of Cubify - not everything is printable in this however there are filters for guaranteed printable content by print type and material.
- Existing page can be seen here: http://cubify.com/en/Account/DesignFeed
- We are looking for your help in identifying the best ways to display the content stream.
- A logged in user would be able to select and add items to “The Shelf”.
- Each of the items in this page will be linked to a “The Product” page (Product Detail Page)

Key Problems to consider or solve in this page:
- Is the Feed the ideal way to browse an unrestricted content stream?
- How is the feed displayed in an exciting / attractive manner?
- How does a user easily filter down to exactly what to see?
- How can 3D renders of files be made to look as attractive and vibrant as carefully selected images/photos?

2) The Shelf:
- The Shelf functions as a user’s profile and visually read as a “gallery” to proudly display designs they have created themselves OR are created by other users.
- The Shelf is a public showcase of designs, printed items or items a User wishes to print in the future.
- The Shelf is highly curated, in that it presents the User’s own selected content - not just content that they have contributed directly, but creations from the community, as well as Cubify or branded items.
- User will have option to select items and
- Each of the items in this page will be linked to “The Product” page

Key problems to consider or solve in this page:
- Is the “shelf” easily understandable as a distinct space with it own purpose and function separate from the feed?
- Does this view need to be different than “The Feed”? Is there a way to streamline both views?
- How is the Shelf, or a new interaction model, communicated and easily understood?
- How is curating the content easily and elegantly achieved across the differing platforms? What interactions translate well between platforms?

3) The Product Page (Product Detail):
- Each of the item in “The Design Feed” and “ The Shelf” will lead the user to this screen
- Each Creation (whether it be a curated product or a 3D object uploaded by a User) ultimately has a single page dedicated to showing the detail of that object, containing prominent and attractive photography/imagery to specified product details regarding file types, printer compatibility, customization options and, when offered as a cloud print, cost and variation of sizes and materials.
- Note: that some products may be an amalgamation of several files, and they may encompass extra files, whether they are documentation, videos or other materials to explain context or provide instructions to the user.
- User will have additional options to make the product they designed for public or private viewing i.e. by making it public will allow other users to see this product / by making it private will make it visible only to them.

Key problems to consider or solve in this page:
- What creation views best represent or show off the types of products offered?
- Is a standardized template desired, or do variations of templates become desirable depending on the content?
- How are pages created by the User? How are they organized/?
- How are users incentivized or invited to provide categorization and rich descriptions for the content network when uploading their own content?
- How can different Users contribute to a shared Product/Project space?

Target Audience:
- Growing Cubify User Base
(We had attached an infographic about target audience in challenge assets folder, please have a look)

Judging Criteria:
- How well you plan the user experience and capture your ideas visually.

- A good understanding of the content considerations and the variety of creations and products that are a part of the Cubify ecosystem.
- Your design should possible to build and make sense for desktop and mobile devices (responsive).
- Cleanliness of your graphics and design.
