Welcome to Megacorp - Visitor iPhone App Design Concepts Challenge. In this challenge, we are looking the topcoder communities design expertise to help define the initial design direction for a new iPhone application.

We are looking for designs for what the user sees and experiences when using the application.

The Purpose of this challenge is to define with the look / feel of a new iPhone application. We are looking to the Topcoder Design Community to help us with planning our new "user experience" (UX).

Acme Megacorp (AM) is an international financial services company, with large corporate offices in 12 locations around the world. Visitors come to AM offices for a variety of reasons, such as:  Internal AM Employees arriving for project work from other locations, job applicants arriving for interviews, customers arriving for conferences and meetings, etc.  Acme Megacorp is looking to topcoder community to help them brainstorm around an iPhone application which will improve and simplify the experience of visiting one of their offices.

Design Considerations:
We would like you to consider the following while designing

GENERAL:
This is a consumer-facing, public application, so keep the feel light and professional. With this in mind, also design specifically for the current iOS8 including these key concepts :
- Generous use of whitespace
- Vivid photography
- Less “containers’
- Minimalistic design elements
- Crisp / clean text

- Please use a placeholder for logo!

DESIGN SIZE:
- Design the four (4) iPhone screens for portrait orientation in iPhone 5 / 6,  1334px (H) by 750px (W) at 72dpi.
- Design the one (1) style tile screen at 1024 (w) by (any height) at 72dpi.

COLORS:
Allowed Primary Colors:
- Dark Blue #002D64
- Med Blue #0F3C8C

Allowed Secondary Colors:
- Bright Blue #56D3F5
- Green #87E128
- Yellow #FAE63C

Preferred Neutrals:
- Dark Gray #5A5A5A
- Light Gray #DADADA
- Black #000000
- White #FFFFFF

Notes:
- Other shades of gray can also be used, as needed.
- Rather than black text on white, please use #333333 for any text that appears on a white background.

TYPOGRAPHY
- Use Arial or Helvetica fonts for all text. Note: The final winner may be required to swap these for Gotham variants.
- Keep typography simple and clean. Use bold and italic text sparingly please -  Instead, use font size or all caps to call out hierarchy.
- Leave good white space between around text.

Required Screens:
We need below screens to be designed for this challenge..

1) Select Location:
- This screen allows the user to choose the office location they are visiting
- How do you think a user needs to select the location.

User will have these below option to select office they are visiting, options are:
- Palo Alto, CA
- Greenwich, NY
- Sao Paulo
- London
- Amsterdam
- Munich
- Mumbai
- Beijing
- Hong Kong
- Singapore

2) Office Landing Screen:
This will be the landing page for the office and shows the main menu that allows users to move forward with the application

Content ideas:
- Welcome text for this office
- Include some imagery of a beautiful office building OR recognizable image from location city (can be background)
- Office main menu, options are:

—— Getting Here
—— Around Town
—— Guest Survey
—— FAQs
—— About Us

3) My Visit Screen:
- Assume a user taps on “My Visit” in the previous screen
- For this screen, let’s assume the visitor is coming in for an interview.

Content ideas:
- Some icon / link back to location screen
- Greeting and meeting Info.This could be something like “Hi, John. Your interview is at 9am tomorrow in The Madison Room, on the 18th floor.”
- Some sort of check in option - such as “Let us know you’ve arrived. (Check In button)”
- Key contact (maybe person’s name, title, phone, email link and photo?) - this could also be a secondary option on the screen, rather than all shown here
- Options for other info (choose one or more to include - either as content or links or images or icons ,etc):
— Agenda
— Guest Wi-Fi Login
— Floor Plan & Amenities
— Special Requests

4) Designer’s Choice Screen:
We would like you to choose either of the below screens and show us how the design need to look like..

Getting Here:
- Probably things like office street address & phone number, airports, maps, directions — walking vs driving vs public transportation

Around Town:
- Probably things like recommended hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, cash machines, public transportation, points of interest - such as museums, tourist attractions, etc.

5) Style Tile Screen:
- For this screen, we ask that you put together a one page style tile that clearly shows your concept for this design. 
- Please search in google for “style tile template” to see common examples of this type of screen.

Note: Unlike the other screens, the size for this screen is roughly 1024 x 768 px, at 72 dpi.

Elements to include:
a) color scheme, where you call out color for specific items such as:
- Clickable (non-active) link items
- Color for active link items
- Color for specific areas (backgrounds, header backgrounds, etc)
- Color-related scheme / rules

b) Typography rules, where you call out typography for specific items such as:
- headers
- sub-headers
- paragraphs
- lists
- etc

c) Button styles
d) Icon styles
e) Map style (show pin on map, related icons or text)
f) Anything else you want to call out, such as: photo styles, container styles, etc/elements that define your design

Target Audience:
Business professionals, who have a one or more meetings at an Acme Megacorp office.
- These iPhone owners will be comfortable / familiar with iPhone applications.


Judging Criteria:
- How well you plan the user experience and capture your ideas visually
- Cleanliness of your graphics and design
- Your design should possible to build and make sense as a application

Submission & Source Files:
Preview Image
Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Submit JPG/PNG for your submission files.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD file, or Adobe Illustrator as a layered AI file.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. We may ask you to update your design or graphics based on checkpoint feedback.

How To Submit

  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
