- Create a secondary screen showing a popup which gives the user the option to turn widgets on / off
We will pay five (5) prize placements plus $100 for each additional submission with widgets which the client would like to use.
Design Considerations:
We would like you to consider the following while creating your design..
SIZE:
- Use the provided template for your screens. You may add / remove padding in the content area, to allow space for your tabbed interface concept.
STYLES:
- We are including the original dashboard screen which contains several widget examples. Please follow the provided styles where applicable - Where you need to create new styles, please ensure that they work well with the established design.
COLORS:
Follow style tile for color usage throughout your screens.
- See provided color .png - You may add up to two (2) new colors to the color scheme, if needed.
- Note that the existing BRIGHT RED color in the color.png is for errors and negative values only
TYPOGRAPHY:
- Use Arial or Helvetica fonts for all text.
- Keep typography simple and clean. Use bold and italic text sparingly please - Instead, use font size or all caps to call out hierarchy. Leave good white space between and around text.
Required Screens:
We need the following two (2) screens to be designed for this challenge (below). Wireframes are provided for both of these screens.
Screen #1:
Dashboard with new tabs & widgets (see 1-dashboard tabs.png) for this screen:
--- use the template
--- add in your concept for tabs (5 tabs shown in wireframe, each with edit and delete options and “+” new tab option) Note that you may move the content area around in the template / add or remove padding as needed for your tab concept.
--- show all required widgets (see widget content.rtf.zip)
Screen #2:
Popup / modal over dashboard with widget manager showing (see 2-widget manager.png and 3-modal style.png) for this screen:
- Use your screen #1 for the background, use a 10% opacity black shade over background and show the modal for user’s options to add/remove widgets as shown in 2-widget manager.png)
- Please use the below mentioned widget categories for the widget manager left side (below) and then show some of these in the right side, to indicate that the user has selected them to be on their dashboard:
