Welcome to Monarch Manufacturing - Product Cancellation Matrix Responsive Design Challenge
In this challenge we need your help to design an easy to use and friendly interface for our client to manage their product information, informing the customer about their product cancellation information status. We need the design to be responsive, so it can be viewed from a web browser, tablet or smaller device like phone.
Note: Monarch Manufacturing is the codename of the client.

Design Overview:
Problem:
Monarch Manufacturing needs to communicate product status with partners and customers. The goal is to keep them informed on the status of replacement parts and service support by providing a pre-notification of support cancellation on various products. These products are currently managed with an XLS spreadsheet and not easily searchable or organized, and also the current solution can not be updated in real time and not accessible through a web browser.
Solution:
The goal of this design challenge is to create an easy to use and user friendly interface that can be accessible through web browser and all other devices like tablet or phone. Interface should allow for easy to use search, filters and sorting.
Consider designing for both the end user, external user (partner and customer) and internal resources (product managers) that will be able to create, update and delete content (data entry)
Final result may be built on Google App Engine but platform is yet to be determined.
Design Consideration:
- Please note that there will be 2 (two) users to use this app,
---the external user (partner and customer) that can only view the product information
---the internal user (product managers) that will be able to create, update and delete data content.
- We need your solution to be responsive and will look great to be viewed from multiple devices, desktop, tablet or phone.
- Please show all hover states for all UI elements (buttons, hyperlinks, select box, etc.)
- Please make sure your UI elements are created in vectors/shape, so it can be easily edited later for some smaller/bigger devices.
Required Screens:
1. Product Search
---This is the first screen the user will see.
---On this page, user will be able to search a product info by keyword and/or product name and/or model.
2. Search Result
---Upon click the search button, the user will see this page.
---There will be a list of products on this page, you can make it around 5-10 examples.
---Results of search should be easily readable.
---There should be a way for user to get a product details. And icon, links or buttons?
3. Product Information Display
---There should be a table of cancellation information that contain fields below:
a. DateDate Announced: date the Intent to Cancel (ITC) is announced

b. Product Type: One letter indicator of product type (I = Infrastructure; S = Subscriber; P = Paging; A = Accessory; D = Data; I = iDEN)
c. Product Name: external facing model/accessory name

d. Model Numbers: exact model numbers that are being cancelled
e. Band/Range: VHF, UHF, Low, Wide or Frequency Range impacted
f. Last Order Date: The effective cancellation date, and or last date orders can be placed

g. Last Ship Date: last date orders will be shipped
---Use standard text for this field (Month/Day/Year) e.x (4/30/2015)
h. Replacement Products: alternative available products, if applicable
i. End of Support Date: Last Ship Date plus 5 years for Subscriber (incl Paging); 7 years for Infrastructure; 3 years for Data

j. Last Service Agreement: End of Support Date minus 1 year.

4. Product / Data Entry
---This page can be seen by the internal user only (the product managers)
---PM should be able to add/update or delete an info of product.
---Different from the external user, all the table fields above can be updated/deleted by the user on this page.
---Please design some notifications after the user updated/deleted a product info in a simple way.
---There should be a "Generate to word document or pdf" function on this page for internal user. You are welcome to design an icon, button or something for this function. Feel free to design what is best in your design solution.

Create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator and saved as layered PSD/AI files.
Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics, images (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.
