Challenge Overview
Guten Tag Community. Willkommen auf Wissenkarten Projekt. This challenge is to implement sockets in our existing node.js application.
Bonus Payments: This is a 60 hour challenge as we need the solution urgently. As such, we have decided to award $200 to the winning submission and $100 to the second place submission as a bonus payment.
Project Details
Wissenkarten Projekt is an application that provides many services to the end user is the form of "knowledge cards". Think of these as widgets with additional functionality associated with them.
Challenge Details
We are currently using HTTP to make requests to the server. We would like to use sockets instead. In particular, we would like you to use the socket.io library.
Some of our HTTP requests take a long time to respond. We do not want to wait until all the requests complete and thus, we have decided to use sockets to communicate with the client.
In addition to this, we have a Wolfram Alpha service that is the slowest to respond. We would like to enhance this service by using a query parameter in the API calls to Wolfram Alpha that asynchronously returns results.

Final Submission Guidelines
Submit the application in a zip file. The winning submission will be asked to create a pull request to our gitlab repo.
