Welcome to the  "AppXpress - Fitness On Demands iOS Apps Design Challenge". In this challenge we are looking for the Studio Community to help us create a new iOS fitness and health management application. We are looking for creative, clean, professional and the best UI/UX possibility for this apps. Looking forward to see your participation in this challenge.

Project Overview
We are an American multinational corporation that uses direct response infomercials and multi-level marketing to sell fitness, weight loss, and muscle building home-exercise DVDs. There are many various of products which we offers to our customer, from various type of one-stop-solution fitness programs, Supplements, Sports Gear, and Workout videos. 

We are a Multichannel Marketer, with mobile, print, online, radio, and various other presences. Offering the most innovative, results-oriented programs and skilled, motivational trainers, Our core purpose is to help people achieve their goals and enjoy a healthy, fulfilling life.

Challenge Goals
Create an iOS application that allow our customers with Single Sign-On (SSO) access to their account in the apps, asking for On Demand workouts, communicate with their coach and easily purchase new products from our store. Integrate Runkeeper and Fitbit (3rd party apps) to provide a "dashboard" feeling to track analytics. Allow access to a workout and nutrition calendar with push notifications to remind users to workout and when to eat.

Main Features:
1. Access to On Demand workouts, Access and play On Demand workouts
2. Access Account/Purchase Products, Purchase our health products and manage user account
3. Coach Messenger, Communicate in messenger format with their coach for tips, reminders, support, etc.
4. Activity Tracker Dashboard/Calendar, access a dashboard that displays analytics with integration of Fitbit and Runkeeper/Customizable Calendar with workouts and nutrition reminders

User Scenario
"Fitness on Demand" is an application that provide customers with an easy to use, all in one solution for on demand workouts, account management, coach messenger and activity tracker with calendar.
1. As a user, I should be have a simple, clean menu with large icons on the main page to select the following : On Demand Workouts, Shop Products/Account Manager, Coach Messenger, Activity Tracker/Calendar
2. As a user, when I select "On Demand Workouts" I should be able to select from the workout programs that are in my On Demand account. I should then be able to select the specific workout and play it on my device
3. As a user, when I select "Shop Products/Account Manager" I should be able to browse thru current promotions and products, select desired products and check out in a simple click and go fashion. I should also be able to access my account and change ship dates, product flavors and manage general account info and payment options
4. As a user, when I select "Coach Messenger" I should be able to message back and forth with my coach
5. As a user, when I select "Activity Tracker/Calendar" I should be able to see analytics with integration from Runkeeper and/or Fitbit application. I should also be able to access a customizable calendar where I can add specific workouts to certain days or automatically insert a specific workout programs schedule. I should be able to add daily meal plans to each day. Push notifications within the calendar section will remind me of my workout of the day and also remind me to eat certain meals at certain times throughout the day.

Mobile Storyboards
- IMPORTANT!! This is a native iOS application (research iOS design patterns and techniques)
- Design screens for iPhone 5 (Portrait, 640x1136px, PRIORITY) and iPad (Portrait, 1536x2048px)
- Modern clean mobile/application design.
- Make sure to embrace iOS design patterns and interactions.

Screen Requirements 
00. General Interactions
- All features need to leverage iOS "Notifications" protocol so the user can get notifications (similar to when you get a text).
- Also, there should be a notification/alert feature prompted by the user coach to reorder products and introduce newly released products.

01. Landing/Main Screen
- By default, this screen will appear and welcome the user everytime they open the apps.
- Suggest a simple logo for the apps.
- Think the best way to welcome user to the apps, Maybe a simple splash screen before this screen showed up?
- This screen needs to provide summary of the apps along with a simple, clean menu with large icons on the main page to select the following :
* On Demand Workouts,
* Shop Products/Account Manager,
* Coach Messenger,
* Activity Tracker/Calendar
- Think for the best UI/UX for this screen.

02. On Demand Workouts Screen
- User will be able to select and find various of On Demand workout programs (videos, instructions) that available in the apps depending on their account privileges.
- If user found specific workouts that they like, they can select it and play the workout videos or read the instructions.
- Suggest what should be presented when user play the workouts program, video only? instruction of gears and tips related to the specific training/workout? etc??
- Think for the best UI/UX for this screen.

03. Shop Product/Account Manager Screen
- User should be able to browse through current promotions and products.
- User can select desired products and check out in a simple click and go fashion.
- User should also be able to access their account and change ship dates, product flavors and manage general account info and payment options. Think about eCommerce here.
- Think for the best UI/UX for this screen.

04. Coach Messenger Screen
- User should be able to message back and forth with their coach
- User should be able to have interaction with their coach via this apps.
- Needs various way to contact the coach and not just a simple text conversation, maybe picture or video chat?
- Think for the best UI/UX for this screen.

05. Activity Tracker/Calendar Screen
- User should be able to see analytics with integration from Runkeeper and/or Fitbit (3rd party) application.
- User should also be able to access a customizable calendar where they can add specific workouts to certain days or automatically insert a specific workout programs schedule.
- User should be able to add daily meal plans to each day.
- Push notifications within the calendar section will remind user of their workout of the day and also remind them to eat certain meals at certain times throughout the day.
- Think for the best UI/UX for this screen.

Important:
- Keep things consistent. This means all graphic styles should work together and follow iOS best practice.
- All of the graphics should have a similar feel and general aesthetic appearance.

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Submit JPG/PNG for your submission files.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD file, or Adobe Illustrator as a layered AI file.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. We may ask you to update your design or graphics based on checkpoint feedback.

  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
