Challenge Summary

Welcome to Nissan Dealer App Responsive Concepts Design Challenge. Through this challenge, Nissan wants to provide an app to its dealer network to provide dealers a tool for more effective management and tracking of customer leads.

We are looking for the topcoder design communities help in coming up with a complete responsive design solutions that helps client tackle this shortcoming!

NOTE: We will award $100 to all best submissions at checkpoint

Approximately 80% of the Nissan dealers today lack an effective CRM tool and/or mobile applications to manage manufacturer leads.

Design Thoughts:
- Come up with a modern, Flat design
- Your Solution should be minimalistic, focused on ease of use by non-technical users (car salespeople).
- Mimic Nissan brand site, follow Nissan red with grey tones.

Design Size:
- This challenge is focussed on creating Tablet screens (iPad: 2048 x 1536px)
- As we are planning this as responsive designs, please create two screens [(1) Sales rep Landing page and 5) Basic Configuration] of size Desktop (1024px width and height as required) and Mobile (320 x 480px).

Required Screens:
We need below screens to be designed as a part of this challenge…

0) Login:
- We need a login screen that allows the user to access this app
- Come up with a design that shows basic details (username, password) a user need to enter to login to the app
- Also, show how the error screen (if user enters wrong credentials) will look like!

A) Sales Representative Workflow:
For the below use-cases, please create screens as necessary and feel free to add additional screens as required.

1) Sales rep Landing Page (Dashboard):
Please note, we need this screen to be designed for three (3) devices - iPad, Desktop and Mobile (For round 1, you can submit for iPad alone)

- This is the flow for a sales rep.
- What needs to be shown in their landing page?
- We need a way to show a notification that alerts the rep that they have new / unaccepted leads
- Provide Calendar View/Schedule Appointments (Please create separate screen as required)
- Provide a link to iCar app which provides sales tools..we also need to show the salesrep what they can get by using iCar App. iCar App allows the user to get “Product Assets, Brochures, etc., Vehicle Pricing Detail (Base Pricing, List & pricing of options), Vehicle Trade-In Lookup.
- Recent leads that were made active?

2) View/Manage Leads:
- User will have option to View/Manage My Leads
- Click on new lead and confirm acceptance
- They need to be have the ability to change the status of a Lead to ‘Active’
- Would it be good to provide them with the filter capability (date range, status, etc..) that allows them to view based on a condition?

2.1) Active Leads:
- User will be able to see a list of active leads
- Provide option for them to View/Edit Detail (click on lead identifier field)

3) Lead Details:
- Each of the leads would contain these fields:

  • Customer Name

  • Contact Info

  • Lead Source (Advertisement, Employee Referral, External Referral, Partner, Public Relations, Seminar - Internal, Seminar - Partner, Trade Show, Web)

  • Notes

  • Trade-In (Y/N)

  • Sales Process Status

  • Next Steps/Action

- User need the ability to change the sales stage to any of these: Prospecting, Greeting and Welcome, Consultation, Vehicle Presentation, Demo Drive, Investment Proposal, Financial Transaction, Delivery, Sales-to-Service Handoff, Follow-up, Closed (Archived)
- Allow them to add / update notes.
- We also need to provide them with the ability to archive for Leads Search!

B) Manager/Admin Workflow:
Manage/Admin will be responsible for managing the overall configuration for the app, management of leads and the overall sales process.

For the below use-cases, please create screens as necessary and feel free to add additional screens as required.

4) Manager/Admin Landing Page (Dashboard):
- What needs to be shown here?
- From admin perspective, which need to be given more importance?
- Should we show the overall number of leads, stale leads (i.e. leads that were not accepted?) that requires immediate attention (notifications?)

5) Basic Configuration: 
Please note, we need this screen to be designed for three (3) devices - iPad, Desktop and Mobile!
- Admins need the ability to manage the basic configuration of the application
- Some of the functionalities required are Manage Reps, Manage Leads and Manage Sales Process (see below for more details on these)

User/Salesrep Management:
- Admin will have the ability to view list of salesrep
- They need the ability to create new reps
- Should be able to edit the status of Rep (Active, Inactive, OOO (remove from round-robin queue when rep is on PTO))

Leads:
- Should be able to configure on how the leads are assigned to rep.
- Will the leads be Manually Assigned or through Round-Robin (Maximum time to accept before forwarding to next Salesrep).

Sales Process:
Select / define sales stages that manager wants to enforce for his team:
Prospecting
Greeting and Welcome
Consultation
Vehicle Presentation
Demo Drive
Investment Proposal
Financial Transaction
Delivery
Sales-to-Service Handoff
Follow-up
Closed (Archived)

- Max time lead should stay in this stage before highlighting for additional action

6) View/Manage Team Leads:
- Provide filtering options (View by salesrep, date range, status, etc..)
- They need the ability to view/generate reports on overall lead status of the leads.
- Should be able to view the overall Lead conversion rates.
- They need the ability to view Stale leads (haven’t progressed through sales process in defined timeframes)

Target User:
- Dealers

Judging Criteria:
- How well you plan the user experience and capture your ideas visually
- Cleanliness of your graphics and design

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Submit JPG/PNG for your submission files.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD file, or Adobe Illustrator as a layered AI file.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. We may ask you to update your design or graphics based on checkpoint feedback.

  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
