Challenge Overview
Welcome to the Gideons iOS Mobile App Rebranding Challenge 1!
This project is a “re-branding” of an existing application called "Bible.is" for our client FCBH (“Faith Comes by Hearing”). This application allows users to listen and/or read the Bible in multiple languages. They want to build a rebranded version of this same application for Gideons International.
Here are some basic functionality of the application:
Sign In
Select Reading Language
Read / Listen the Bible
Search
Download Bible Content
Share the app (via Message, Mail, Facebook)
Configure App Settings (Select Language, Text size/font/theme, etc.)
View Terms of Service / Privacy Policy
Contact Support
The source code of the existing application (using Objective-C), UI design storyboards and mapping notes are available in the challenge forum.
This challenge will primarily focus on the color scheme and other minor changes by following the UI storyboards and mapping notes. We will keep most of the existing functionality.
Final Submission Guidelines
- Cocoa Touch framework Xcode 6.3 project with well commented code
- Code must be working well on latest iPhone devices (iPhone 4/4S, 5/5C/5S, 6/6+, etc.)
- iPad support must remain intact as well (and screens should be updated with the new designs)
- Upload all source projects as a zip
- Provide documentation of any special configuration required to run your code.
