Challenge Overview
Our IBM Bluemix community is kicking off and we want you to get started with an awesome, fun IBM Watson challenge. The challenge will involve cloning a github repo, making a small change to the code and then pushing the app to IBM Bluemix. Each week we'll randomly pick a passing submitter and give them $250. That's it!!!
We'll be using a modified version of the IBM Watson Visual Recognition service (check out the demo) for this challenge using Node.js. She here's the short 5 step process to enter the sweepstakes:
1. Sign up for an IBM Bluemix account. Follow these instructions for topcoder members.
2. Clone this repo and follow the instructions to get it running.
3. We'll be tweeting a new image every day for visual recognition from the @topcoder account with the #watsonfun hashtag. Find that day's image and replace the URL on this line. You must use that day's image as we'll be checking against our timeline.
4. Push this code with the new image URL to IBM Bluemix with an app name that includes your handle: [TOPCODER-HANDLE]-fun-watson.
5. There is no step #5. You are done. Submit your URL.
Final Submission Guidelines
For your submission, upload a .txt file with the URL of your app on IBM Bluemix. Example: http://[TOPCODER-HANDLE]-fun-watson.mybluemix.net.
