Welcome to "AppXpress - Earmark Saving Management Tools Design Challenge". In this challenge we are looking for the Studio Community to help us create look and feel for our new saving management tools that will be use to save money passively so that user can get the things/goals that they want. We are looking for creative, clean, professional and the best UI/UX possibility for this apps. Looking forward to see your participation in this challenge.

Background Overview 
Crank211 is creating an app called Earmark looking to create an app that helps users passively save their money so that they can reach their savings goal or buy that product that they have their eye on. This application should be intuitive and feel safe. It should be provide encouragement through well timed achievements and smart notifications. It should be highly social.

Challenge Goals 
This challenge goal is to create fun and engaging Apps that help users to save money without thinking about it so that they can get the things that they want.

Main Features
- Product search.
- The user will be able to set a goal (probably a product) for which they'd like to save.
- After setup, the app will save money automatically by passively by looking at your spending activity and rounding some or all purchases up to the nearest dollar (or something similar) thus allowing the user to incrementally save money toward your goal.
- Follow the goals and progress of friends through an activity feed.
- Valuable metrics, achievements, and notifications for progress.

Design Consideration
- Create it for iPhone : 750px x 1334px
- Fun, Engaging, Clean mobile/application design.
- Please make sure your UI elements are created in vectors/shape, so it can be easily edited later for some smaller/bigger devices.

Branding Guidelines:
- No Branding Guidelines, Feel free to decide the app branding guidelines
- Design Orientation : Up to designers.

Screen Requirements
Please create the following screens in your submission :

01. Dashboard Screen
- This page by default will be shown to user.
- As a user, I need a dashboard where I can track the progress of my savings progress and my goals. 
- I should be able to add new goals, edit goals, and delete goals. 
- Each goal should show me how close I am to reaching it as well as any social interactions with the goal (likes, comments, share, favorites, suggestions).

02. Search Product Screen
- As a user, I need to be able to search for products that I may want to set as my goals. 
- As a user, I need to be able to view a product detail. 
- As a user, I need to be able to set and manage the goals toward which I am saving. 
- These goals should be found via a product search or through a custom entry (i.e. Date Night, Golf Vacation). They should be customizable (cost, image, title, etc). 
- I should have no more than 5 goals.
- The app should lean toward product based goals.

03. Activity Screen
- As a user, I should be able to view an activity feed that shows when I or my friends do things like add a goal, comment on a goal, hit a milestone or achievement.

04. Progress Goal Screen
- As a user, I should be able to view an individual goal along with all of its activity and progress. 
- I should be able to navigate here from the dashboard or from the feed by tapping on any goal.

05. My Profile Screen
- As a user, I should be able to see my profile where I can view and manage my goals, my friends, my savings strategy, and my achievements.

06. Purchase product Screen
- As a user, I should be able to purchase a product when I am ready.

Important:
- Keep things consistent. This means all graphic styles should work together and follow iOS best practice.
- All of the graphics should have a similar feel and general aesthetic appearance.
- Feel free to add new screen to explain your design interactions for the apps.

Target User
- Millennials, Young parents, Tech savvy.
- People that have their eye on the latest device or pair of jeans or golf clubs, but they aren't great at saving money.

Judging Criteria
- How well you plan the user experience and capture your ideas visually
- How well you design the mobile application concept!
- Cleanliness of your graphics and design
- Creativity and ease-of-use is key to the success as it must be engaging to users.

Submission & Source Files
Preview Image
Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Submit JPG/PNG for your submission files.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD file, or Adobe Illustrator as a layered AI file.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. We may ask you to update your design or graphics based on checkpoint feedback.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
