Challenge Description:
IBM is a market leader in providing Mobility solutions to large enterprises. The purpose of this app is to provide an interactive and engaging  sales tool to help introduce new design and development options (utilizing the Topcoder community) for custom mobile app development.

The primary use of this app is for sales reps to quickly and easily explain the crowdsourcing platform to potential customers. This crowdsourcing sales tool will showcase examples of successful projects and capture potential project information that can be used for future in-person design and development workshops.

The secondary use of the app is for sales reps to quickly and easily capture potential project information for a brief that will be used to run a “design concepts” challenge as part of the workshop experience (think LUX challenges!) The reps need to be able to take notes within the app or guide the prospective customer to provide answers to the complete the brief.

Branding Guidelines:
This app is a marketing tool for IBM Interactive Experience group. Refer to the IBM Interactive Experience site for a better understanding of the look and feel we need you to embrace (as this would be a sales tool for them). Note: This application will be representing them.. so it needs to be sharp and engaging!

- Large images where applicable
- Color updates to the IBM color palette
- Appropriate typography choices (Helvetica Neue)
- IBM Interactive Experience.
- A color palette (illustrator file) has been attached as well.In addition, reference the overall IBM brand guidelines

Target devices:
- Tablet Resolution: Design for iPad 2 Retina Display 1536px x 2048px.
Make sure you create graphic in “vector” format, so when resize the graphic still look sharp! It will be great if you can provide the landscape version.

Supporting Documents:
- Winning Submission (Winning Submission.zip), your work will be based on this submission.
- 2nd place submission (2nd place.zip), you will take the AppXpress functionality from it and add it to winning submission.

Main App Features:
- Introduce crowdsourcing and the Topcoder community.
- Explain which types of projects are most suited to crowdsourcing.
- Understand the benefits, format and agenda for an interactive crowdsourcing workshop
- Register their name and email address to find out more
- Quickly create (and collect) a brief for the design of a mobile app.
- Allow sales rep to gather notes within the app.

Work flow:
- Understand the rationale for crowdsourcing in mobile.
- Find out about the benefits of “IBM, powered by Topcoder” offering.
- Register interest for an interactive crowdsourcing workshop.
- Suggest an iOS app which you would like “IBM, powered by Topcoder” to mock up during the workshop.

Requested Updates:
0) Branding
- The entire application needs to be updated to match IBM Interactive Experience style.
- Use IBM logo from IBM Interactive Experience.

1) Navigation
- We are missing navigation - hamburger navigation is suggested.
- Going from one screen to another screen need to make sense and flow smoothly

2) Dashboard and Flow Updates
- The initial landing page/start of the application needs to be more engaging and on brand
- What is important to the sales rep who will be opening this application and educating a customer?
- What navigation items are needed/placement
- Needs to be easy to explain crowdsourcing and also take quick notes.
- Fix all typos you encounter.

3) AppXpress Functionality
- The winning submission is missing the AppXpress functionality that can be found in 2nd place submission
- This functionality guides the sales reps or client through a process to capture and distill information into a design brief that will be sent to the community to run a challenge.
- When you add the missing AppXpress functionality please make sure design elements looks consistent and match the look and feel of the IBM Interactive Experience site.
*Note: the screens provided from the second place winner reference functionality originally designed for

4) Notes Taking Functionality
- We would like a way for the sales rep to take notes within the app so that they can keep track of the live conversation without leaving the app. This will allow them to quickly and easily draft a design challenge for the client if the client is not able to do so during their meeting.
- The note-taking capabilities of a product like Google Keep is sufficient.
- Think of it as a way for a sales team to ask the "correct design questions" for a design brief

5) Case studies template
Sales reps must be able to present case studies to clients from within the app.
-The first place winner of the previous challenge had begun designing this into their landing screen. We need to further develop this design.
-Note: Case studies do not need to be accessed from the splash screen. They could also be accessed from the dashboard [icr_p0-6-menu.png] Think about the best way for users to access case studies and the UX changes that would be necessary.
-We need a page template that can display a series of mobile case studies.
---Template should include a “presentation” image (grouping of several phones/screens), written description and a way to view additional images/screens within the case study.
---There is no written content for the case studies at this time. Use “Lorem Ipsum” for text and assume the content will include “Client Name” / “Project Title” / “Written description.”
---Files for the case study are available on Google Drive please use only the first place winner in your layouts.
-We would like to see your layout for all five case studies.

Things to consider
- How does the user access this function? Slideout panel? A button in a fixed location?
- How does the sales rep  keep track of different clients?
- Is there a use for tags? Can users organize their notes in a way that they could be fed directly into the correct place on the brief.

Important:
- Keep things consistent. This means all graphic styles should work together. You will need to update icons and infographics to be consistent with the IBM style.
- All of the graphics should have a similar feel and general aesthetic appearance.

Target audience:
- Sales team looking to impress and engage a potential client.
- Customers who are interested in attending an interactive crowdsourcing workshop.

Judging Criteria:
- How well you update and enchance the design
- Branding of the application
- Overall "experience"
- Cleanliness of your graphics and design.
