Challenge Summary

Welcome to "AppXpress - Plant Quality Control App Design Challenge". In this challenge we are looking for the Studio Community to help us create look and feel for our new quality control apps that will be use by farmer/grower to have real time access to their cane quality data and made quick decision based on the data. We are looking for creative, clean, professional and the best UI/UX possibility for this apps. Looking forward to see your participation in this challenge.

Background Overview 
We are an organization that dedicated to supporting sugar industry through research, legislation, product promotion, education and public relations. In this challenge, we want to help our farmer to have real time access to monitor and made quick decision regarding their cane plant quality. Please see more details below!

Challenge Goals 
This challenge goal is to allow farmers to have real time access to their cane quality data (processed at the sugar mill's sample lab) so they have the ability to course correct immediately and make proactive, better cane quality decisions.

Main Features
- Assignment and notification of grower cane load quota 
- Ability to change and notify any quota change by admin and grower
- The ability to accept or reject the change in quota
- The ability to include a justification of change in quota
- Load Delivery status update
- Overweight threshold notification 
- Quota attainment notification 
- Display all cane quality parameters: sediment, fiber, brix, pols, purity, TRS, residual weight, moisture, picture, sample picture, sample number 

User Flow
- Farmer/Grower accepts and possibly request changes to daily cane quota
- Farmer/Grower to view progress of quota attainment 
- Farmer/Grower to view cane quality data
- Admin to assign and change cane quota per grower

Design Consideration
- Create it for : 
* iPhone : 750px x 1334px
* iPad : 2048px x 1536px
- Simple, Professional, Easy to Use, and Clean mobile/application design.
- Please make sure your UI elements are created in vectors/shape, so it can be easily edited later for some smaller/bigger devices.

Branding Guidelines:
- Font, Color, Style : Up to designers.
- Design Orientation : Up to designers.

Screen Requirements
Please create the following screens in your submission (for both Admin and Farmer/Grower):

01. Dashboard Screen
- This page by default will be shown to admin and farmer/grower by the time they open the apps.
- Each user (admin and farmer/grower) will see different information presented to them.
- As a user (admin), I want to see progress summary about all grower information regarding their cane load quota, productivity, etc from this screen.
- As a user (farmer), I should be able to check summary information about my cane plant quality and my quota progress via this screen.
- As a user (admin and farmer), I should be able to navigate all features in apps via this screen.
- As a user (admin and farmer), I should be able to get quick notification message regarding all related information that important to me.
- Think the best UI/UX for this screen.

02. Assignment Screen
- User can access this screen from dashboard. Different content will be shown to each user.
- As a user (Admin), I should be able to assign farmer/grower for specific cane quota. I also should able to send notification to the farmer/grower regarding the quota assignment.
- As a user (Farmer), I should be able to see the quota assignment and be able to to accept or reject the quota
- As a user (Farmer), I should be able to provide any a justification of change in quota and send it back to admin.
- As a user (Admin), I should have an ability to change any quota for grower/farmer and notify them again about it.
- As a user (Farmer), I should be able to see the quota assignment and be able to to accept or reject the change of quota and provide a justification about it.
- Think the best UI/UX for this screen.

03. View Plant Data Screen
- As a user (Admin), I should be able to see the cane quality that being processed in the sugar mill from each farmer/grower via this screen. I can select one of the farmer/grower from dashboard and see their specific plant quality information.
- As a user (Farmer), I should be able to see my cane quality data that being processed in the sugar mill. I can navigate to this screen via menu in dashboard.
- Display all cane quality parameters in this screen : sediment, fiber, brim, pols, purity, TRS, residual weight, moisture, picture, sample picture, sample number 
- Make sure to include the time of cane sample being processed.
- Data comparison from each sample? quality increase or decrease from old to newest sample?
- Rich graphic (graph/chart/icons) and easy to understand data is what we're looking for in this screen.
- Think the best UI/UX for this screen.

04. View Quota Progress Screen
- As a user (Farmer), I can see my quota progress from this screen. I should be able to see estimation when i will fulfill my quota via this screen.
- As a user (Admin), I should be able to see all farmer/grower quota via this screen, i can see each farmer data or see summary data from all farmer.
- Data comparison from periodic time? quota progress increase or decrease for each hour?
- Think the best UI/UX for this screen.

05. Notification Screen
- As a user, I should be able to see all notification related to me via this screen.
- Usually, notification will be provided by popup, but user can navigate to this screen to get detail information about the notification.
- Show different notification design for the following status :
* Load Delivery status update
* Overweight threshold notification 
* Quota attainment notification 
- Think the best UI/UX for this screen.

Important:
- Keep things consistent. This means all graphic styles should work together and follow iOS best practice.
- All of the graphics should have a similar feel and general aesthetic appearance.
- Feel free to add new screen to explain your design interactions for the apps.

- Sugarcane Growers and Farmers 
- Grower Sugar Mill Liason 
- Various Stakeholders (view only)

- How well you plan the user experience and capture your ideas visually
- How well you design the mobile application concept!
- Cleanliness of your graphics and design
- Creativity and ease-of-use is key to the success as it must be engaging to users.

Preview Image
Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Submit JPG/PNG for your submission files.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD file, or Adobe Illustrator as a layered AI file.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. We may ask you to update your design or graphics based on checkpoint feedback.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
