Welcome to AppXpress – Appirio Event Capture Design Concepts Challenge!

This challenge is focused on creating design concepts/visual ideas to create an app to drive event attendees to vending machine to collect their reward for taking selfie, short survey and verifying their identity.  

In this contest we are looking for DESIGN CONCEPTS on how this app could work. What should the user see and experience when using the application?

Concept Description:
We would like your help in designing an app to drive event attendees to vending machine to collect their reward for taking selfie, short survey and verifying their identity.  

We are looking for the [topcoder] design Community to help us with planning our new "user experience" (UX).

Design Guidelines:
- Use Appirio Branding Guidelines (AppirioStyleGuide_2015.pdf).

User Experience (How we want the app to feel?)
- This app should have the feeling of an Exclusive App like “Uber”, clean and intuitive design, but not too dark of a theme, really slick, happy, vibrant and cutting edge.

Design Goals:
- How should this application be designed?
- How quickly the user can find what he wants? What should the priority features be?
- How quickly can the user understand and interact with the app?
- The application should be easy to use.
- Think simple but effective solutions! Have fun creating this - let us know how you think it should work!

Screen Sizes:
- Mobile Resolution: Design for iPhone 6 Retina Display 750px x 1334px.
Make sure you create graphic in 'shape' format, so when we resize graphics will still look sharp! It will be great if you can provide the landscape version.

Main Features:
1. Mobile Phone Number or "Bypass Code" Capture.
2. Selfie / Picture Upload.
3. Email Address Capture.
4. Redirect to Survey.
5. Identity Verification via Social Login (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Salesforce).
6. Guide to Fulfillment Center with Redemption Code.
7. Share via Social Media (after Redemption).

User Flow:
1. User navigates to the URL for the App.
2. User provides Mobile Phone Number or a "Bypass Code".
3. If Mobile Phone provided - User takes a Selfie.
4. If Bypass Code provided - User can takes a picture or Selfie.
5. If Bypass Code provided - User's Email Address must be captured.
6. Unique Login Link is sent to the User via SMS or Email.
7. User opens unique link to Redeem their reward.
8. User takes a short survey.
9. User redirected via Social Login to confirm identity (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Salesforce).
10. If Successful user is presented with directions to the redemption location and a Code to claim their reward when the arrive at the redemption center.
11. When code is redeemed user is sent a link where they can share their experience with their social network.

This is a design concepts challenge and those are only suggested screens from us, so please feel free to add anything you think will work good for this app.
0) Navigation:
- How does the user navigate this application?
- Include navigation that you think fits with this application.
- Focus on the priority items and how things should be sized.

1) Landing Page:
- User needs to provide his Phone number or bypass code.
- If Mobile Phone provided - User takes a Selfie.
- If Bypass Code provided - User can takes a picture or Selfie.
- If Bypass Code provided - User's Email Address must be captured.

2) Short Survey Page:
- Unique Login Link is sent to the User via SMS or Email.
- User opens unique link to Redeem their reward.
- User takes a short survey.

3) Confirm Identity Page:
- After taking short survey user redirected via Social Login to confirm identity (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Salesforce).

4) Claim Page:
- If identity is confirmed successfully user is presented with directions to the redemption location and a Code to claim their reward when the arrive at the redemption center.

5) Share Page:
- When code is redeemed user is sent a link where they can share their experience with their social network.

Important:
- Keep things consistent. This means all graphic styles should work together.
- All of the graphics should have a similar feel and general aesthetic appearance

Target Audience:
- Attendees of a very very large conference.

Judging Criteria:
- How well you plan the user experience and capture your ideas visually.
- Cleanliness of your graphics and design.

Submission & Source Files:
Preview Image
Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Submit JPG/PNG for your submission files.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD file, or Adobe Illustrator as a layered AI file.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. We may ask you to update your design or graphics based on checkpoint feedback.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

How To Submit

  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
