Welcome to Penelope - Logo and Poster Design Challenge!
The Salesforce ENGAGE logo and poster is to get our representatives excited about an overarching sales transformation enabled by Salesforce. We want the logo to convey that Salesforce ENGAGE will provide a better way for everyone to do their jobs. New level of sales and relationship effectiveness. Reason it is more effective is that it is a more simplistic systems that eliminates and reduce the administrative burden, which goes along with customer data entry.
We're looking forward to seeing your creative designs for our logo and infographic.

Round One (1) - Submit your design for Checkpoint feedback:

Challenge Description:
The goal of this challenge is to create Salesforce “ENGAGE” logo, you are provided with a template to follow, and with client logo references.
Supporting Documents:
- Template (Logo Template_v4 2.ai.zip).
- Inspiring Futures Logo (Inspringbetterfutureslogo.jpeg).
Logo Requirements:
- Powerful and Inspirational. The logo and poster should standout. We want to somehow incorporate the attributes of the Saleforce cloud and Inspiring Futures logo.
- This is used for internal promotion but we want to grab the attention of people who are constantly bombarded for mindshare. Reps deal with a lot of emails and information and we want this logo to grab their attention.
- Please use the attached template to showcase your logos! (includes layout instructions.)
- Font is open to the designers, DO NOT include any font files in your submission or source files.
- Designs must be created as VECTOR artwork so they can be resized without a loss of quality. Make sure your logo quality is not diminished when scaled up or down.
- The logo should grasp the message of the logo design within three seconds of the first glimpse.
- Your logo should be easy to read in small sizes. Refer to the Template file to demonstrate this.
- You need make sure your logo looks okay above light or dark background by submitting them in white and black backgrounds. (Use included Template file)
- Submit one version of AI/EPS (source) logo file with text intact (not outlined) and another version of AI/EPS logo file with text in outlined format.

Design Medium:
- We will be using the logo on social sites (web) but also in print. We would like to put this on tchotchke/promotional items (cups).
- The poster will be used for roadshows and presentations.
Poster Size:
- 11”x17” inches.
Branding Guidelines:
- Tone: Enthusiasm and excitement.
- Color:
Incorporate the Salesforce blue as well as the following color palettes:

- Poster: simple, clean, white space (not too many words); it will be an info graphics of key messages.
Poster Requirement:
- Salesforce ENGAGE is the name of Inspiring Better Future’s multi-year program to replace GEMS, Prelude, and Siebel / Book with a single platform to drive efficiency and consistency across Tax Exempt Market (TEM) and Personal Investments (PI).

- Salesforce ENGAGE is much more than a technology change, it represents a complete sales transformation for TEM and PI. Salesforce will enable stronger alignment with multiple divisions by providing a single platform that will:

-- Present a 360 degree view of customers and prospects.
-- Integrate and streamline processes.
-- Enable real-time data and analytics.
-- Enhance collaboration and consolidate discussions.
-- Offers an intuitive and user-friendly experience.

- Guidance counselors (reps) who find customer support and satisfaction their high priority.
Judging Criteria:
- Quality, cohesiveness, and polish of the brand.
- Overall look-and-feel of logo and color scheme.
- How well the guidelines were followed.
- Quality: Does your logo look fresh, professional and clean? Is the composition/layout well done?
- Have you used typography in a meaningful way?
Submission & Source Files:

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.
Submission File
Submit JPG/PNG image files based on contest submission requirements stated above.
Source Files
All original VECTOR source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Illustrator or similar and saved as layered AI or EPS file. Your source files must meet these requirements:
1) The AI/EPS logo file with text intact (not outlined).
2) The AI/EPS logo file with text in outlined format.
Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.
