Welcome to SunShot – SolarActionNetwork – Tenant Engagement Application Wireframe Challenge!

The hardest part of the clean energy solution is developing projects. Finding the right mix of willing partners, good sites, and strong project economics is a complex art.

The Solar Action Network finds the right balance of local knowledge, strong partners, and deep understanding to create beautiful projects - creating clean energy, good jobs, and happy customers.

The goal of this application is to make it easy for Tenants/Renters to sign a document that expresses their willingness and commitment to pay an additional amount on their monthly rent for the benefits of having the property owner install solar panels.

Challenge Description:
In this challenge we are looking to build the interface for Tangent Engagement Application.

We are looking for wireframe (Axure) solutions based on requirements below. We’re also looking to the community to come up with interesting ideas for the workflow - we’re absolutely open to creative solutions!

At the end of this wireframe challenge, we are looking to have a complete solution for the user experience and flow of the portal

Wireframe Expectations:
- Produce HTML click through wireframes that can be used to demonstrate all mentioned functionalities as required in each round.
- The website must be very easy to use and intuitive. Keep that in mind when designing your solution.
- You MUST cover all screens mentioned in required sections below, if any requirement is missing in final submission the client will not look at it, so make a checklist for the required screens to make sure you designed all of them.
- You MUST use wireframes note pane in every single page you design to explain what items are addressed in that page from the documentation, what things you added/changed/removed, use it to make your idea clearer and help the client to give you constructive feedback.

Notes:
- Your wireframe submissions need to be able to drill down for all page flow.
- Show your wireframe solution for Desktop view (width 1280px and height as required).
- Feel free to suggest any tools/functions that can bring good User Experience for this tool.

Required Functionality:
- Please refer to slide 1 in the presentation document for reader key to be able to understand what we mean for each symbol.

1. Landing Page (Location Map):
- Please refer to slide 2.
- In landing page a map populates with the location of the User.
- The location Pin will be a graphic that looks like a solar panel, user will be able to adjust address by moving the pin.
- The user sees a Checklist of different options:
-- Get Solar on My Roof.
-- Join a Solar Farm.
-- Off Grid Options.
-- Invest in Solar Projects.
- The User navigates to the next page by clicking an option from the Checklist

2. Get Solar on My Roof Page:
- Please refer to slide 3.
- Users are directed to this page when the select the Get Solar On My Roof checkbox on the landing page.
- Users fill out Inquiry Form A and responses are saved in a Database.
- Maybe the database will be a google sheet? Users see data and graphic displays of data that comes from a database.
Inquiry Form A:
Sign Up For Solar:
- Full Name (text).
- Contact Number (phone #).
- Email address (text formatted for email).
- Home Address (address field used to verify actual address).
- Next Button. (Takes user to Electricity Info Page).
Display:
- Display “Average Savings” (dollars).
- Display a Graph/Chart with Average Savings data.
- Display Text content.
- Display “Offer” {Offer is a Client defined promotion consisting of an image or graphic and a text description. For example “Sign Up and Get a Free Solar Charger”.

3. Electricity Info Page:
- Please refer to slide 4.
- User is taken to this page when they click the NEXT button on Get Solar on My Roof Page.
- Users fill out Inquiry Form B.
Form B:
- Electric Utility (text).
- Estimate of Monthly Total Utility Costs (dollars).
- Utility Account # (numeric field).
- Utility account login information if applicable:
-- Username/email.
-- Password.
- Authorization to access utility account:
-- A window that pops up providing the text of ‘utility account authorization’, with a Agree approval button and Digital Signature.

- This is a shopping chart page where Users can review different Products and make a Purchase.

- Off Grid Option 1: Mobile Solar Charger.
- Off Grid Option 2: Portable Solar Generator.
- Off Grid Option 3: Mini Solar Station.
- Standard Credit Card Payment Input Fields, and Shipping Fields pop up when one of the Off Grid Options is selected.

8. Invest in Solar Page:

- User is directed to this page when they select “Invest in Solar” on Landing Page.
- This is an Inquiry Form where Users enter data:
Form G:

Display:
- Display content Information from database about Solar Investing and necessary disclosures. Bar Chart displayed with number of investors who have signed up.

Target audience:
- Renters and Tenants who would like to add solar to their buildings and help convince the property owner that going solar is a good idea.

Judging Criteria:
- User Experience of Tenant Engagement application.
- Completeness and accuracy of the wireframe as defined in the spec requirements.
- How well your wireframes provide a consistent user flow.

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Generated HTML files with all the requested contest requirements stated above.

Source Files
Wireframes should be built in Axure. The resulting files should have generated HTML files. Also, all the content must be listed and the pages are linked together to show page flow.

Final Fixes
As part of the Final Fix phase, you may be asked to remove, update, or change some features of the wireframe.

Stock Photography

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.

  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
