Concept Description:
Aetna Medicare is looking to design their Member Health Statement to increase member education & awareness of Insurance Plan. Understand the use of the plan (what I did) and understand benefits of the Plan that Members have not utilized (benefits available to me that I did not use = value), also decrease Internal complaints and decrease 1-800-medicare complaints.

We are looking for the [topcoder] design Community to help us with planning our new "user experience" (UX).

Supporting Documents:
- Health Statement Text (1. Health Statement - Text.docx), this is the most critical document.  These are the fields that we would like to be designed for the challenge, The <bracketed> just indicates that the information will be personalized to the specific member.  This is true for the expenses and names of medications etc.
- Research – consumer feedback on health Statement concept (2. Appdx 1 - Health Statement Research.pdf).
- User Panel Stimuli – preliminary design concept. (3. Appdx 2 - Health Statement - user panel stimuli.pdf).
- Design considerations – industry best practice currently for health Statement design. (4. Appdx 3 - Statement Design Considerations.pdf)
- Writing for Medicare guide (5a. Writing and designing for a Medicare audience.pdf).
- Health Summary Report (Health Summary Report.pptx), you need to consider the points here while designing your solution.

Screen Sizes:
- Page size is (8.5” X 11”).
Make sure you create graphic in 'shape' format, so when we resize graphics will still look sharp!

Main Features:
1. My medical and hospital costs.
2. My pharmacy and medications cost.
3. Great Job!  Keep it going!  The following preventative health care activities are recommended for you to help your health.
4. Opportunities for you!  Programs are also available to help your health.
5. Staying Connected and getting the most out of your Benefit Plan.

User Flow:
1. The personal Health and Benefits Statement below will help you understand the use of your Plan for the 2015 calendar year.
2. The statement is personalized to you, your plan, your benefits and the healthcare services you have used during the 2015 year.
3. It also includes a customized list of benefits and services that your plan includes, and a summary of the preventative health care activities that are recommended for you, plus programs that are specific to your own health concerns.

Design Requirements:
- Design a Member Health Statement.
- Formatted as a four-page booklet (8.5” X 11”).
- We need to cover all member health statement sections:
-- Introduction.
-- My medical and hospital costs.
-- My pharmacy and medications cost.
-- Great Job!  Keep it going!  The following preventative health care activities are recommended for you to help your health.
-- Opportunities for you!  Programs are also available to help your health.
-- Staying Connected and getting the most out of your Benefit Plan.

Note: Include in your submission your thoughts on additional investments required to take the concept from ideation into development and through commercialization.

Important:
- Keep things consistent. This means all graphic styles should work together.
- All of the graphics should have a similar feel and general aesthetic appearance

Target Audience:
- 2015 Medicare Advantage MAPD Members who renewed into the same Benefits Plan for 2016. These members have the same plan coverage in 2015 and 2016; presenting the opportunity to highlight use of the plan and underutilized plan benefits.

Judging Criteria:
- Simplicity and ease of understanding.
- Call to action to help members get the most ‘value’ from the benefits plan they bought.
- Permission state – believability that service is appropriate from an Insurance company.
- Ability to develop and implement.
