Project Overview
Appirio is looking to build a tool-kit wherein the consultant can input persona lifecycle information (written data) into some sort of backend that would automatically populate and create an Infographic representing the persona lifecycle.

The Purpose of this challenge is to come up with the redesign of the two (2) existing presentations slides "Customer Journey Map Design Spec Example" PDF (attached).  Leveraging design thinking, we envision the final product of this challenges driving future challenges related to the automation of the creation of the entire end-product.

We are looking for the presentation slides to have a stronger visual impact, cleaner fonts, better use of space and iconography.

We have provided the existing documents for reference on how the existing presentation has been put up (note: the original presentation is saved as PDF), This challenge's purpose is to redesign them with better flow and design!

You are encouraged to submit rough concepts for the Checkpoint (so we can provide you feedback on your directions and overall graphic/illustration choices) and then clean them up/finalize your design for Round 2.

Design Considerations:
- We are looking for a cool, slick, professional Infographic that helps convey the message!
- The designs you are coming up with will be used for the template that allows the user to create as many slides as required.
- You can choose to follow, but are not limited to the look & feel, logo from Appirio, AppXpress or Topcoder website.
- Make sure all your elements in your designs are vectors, so it can be resized to any size.
- Please make sure you listed all Fonts you used on your design to avoid failed screening.
- Use the current infographic as guidance for the layout and feel but do not try to replicate the existing outcome; goal is to improve upon and enhance what Appirio has come up with already!

Supporting Documents:
- Customer-Journey-Inspiration.zip (Design inspiration for your references)
- Copy of Customer Journey Examples.xlsx (sample content, contains how we collect the information today)
- Customer Journey Map Design Spec - Example.pdf (Current existing presentation saved as PDF)

Design Guidelines:
- No istockphoto allowed in this contest. Use your own designs and illustrations.
- There are no specific guidelines for branding or iconography at this time.  Please see the third bullet in Design considerations for guidance/direction.

Design Size
- 16:9 ratio (for ex, 1280×720 or 1920×1080)

Required Content:
The following bullets are to help understand the overall concept.
- The basic flow needed in the infographic can be found below:

1. Gaining Customer Insight Slide
- Slide 2 in Customer Journey Map Design Spec - Example PDF is what we currently have.
- Please redesign this slide the way that it fits your concept but please use the following bullets to guide the development of your concept.
- We are looking for the cleanest and most clear way to capture the variety of information in a grid format. Please play around with sizing and formatting to create a pleasant viewing experience for the grid.
- We are looking for images/graphics to explain the stages such-as "research", "book appointment" and so on. We would like a graphic for at least each stage listed but would also like additional images for other stages- perhaps a library with more generic images that could be used based on the consultant's discretion.  More ideas are welcomed and it will not count against you to submit new stages and graphics (in addition to what is listed on the current slide).
- We are looking for "Feelings Icon" that demonstrate the broad spectrum of feelings.  Please see the current examples and provide a different alternative to what is currently offered.

2. Appirio's Customer Journey Map Slide
- Slide 3 in Customer Journey Map Design Spec - Example PDF is what we currently have, if it's looks fuzzy, please read the spreadsheet for the content.
- Please redesign this slide the way that it fits your concept but please use the following bullets to guide the development of your concept.
- Please note that consultants that are non-designers will be ultimate end-user of this product and they will be using it to present it to their customers teams.
- We are looking for the cleanest and most clear way to capture the variety of information that this very "busy" slide will need to have.
- We are looking for a final format that is can be easily modified and edited with content that will be captured in a spreadsheet or like format.  Font size and font clarity will be really important to make proper use of the space.
- We want something that can be both eye catching but also super informative.  Someone will have to have a pleasant response when the quickly glance and the journey map, but also have positive experience when they read the images left to right or up and down.

Important:
- Keep things consistent. This means all graphic styles should work together.
- All of the graphics should have a similar feel and general aesthetic appearance.

Target User:
- Appirio Consultants that are looking to use the Infographic as final customer deliverables.

Judging Criteria:
- Capability to explode the initial concept into a presentation.
- Originality and design execution.
- Quality of graphics
