Welcome to the Topcoder Brand Template Google Slides Clean Up Challenge

This is 1(one) round challenge to clean-up clean up, streamline, and simplify the master template of Google slides for the Topcoder Brand template presentation. Read more detail requirements on challenge specification below

 


Design Requirements
- Download a copy of existing Google Slides: https://docs.google.com/a/appirio.com/presentation/d/1eqAIxwU3YAl0TGaoxDf9MdL1Lkl2Q7rjE-Q2RsK3JnM/edit?usp=sharing
- Use that Google Slides file as base on cleaning up the Master Template.
- FYI: To edit this Google Slides you must open on Google Drive site.
- To access Master Slide on Google Slide please go to Slide > Master
- Your submission MUST follow existing Presentation Storyboard. Check Topcoder_PPT_brand_template.pdf to get familiar with slides layout and design.

Google Slide Clean-Up Requirements:
Make sure you suggest solutions for these following issues on your submission:
- All layout type styles need correct as they match the provided storyboard design.
- We need to make it easy for the user to select a master slide template and begin editing.
- Currently the master slides are a bit messy w/ Duplicate slides making it confusing and difficult for users to work with.
- You need testing when add new slide from selected layout. Is the placeholder in correct placement and size?
- Make sure template layout name need show correct naming and reflected it’s structure
- On master template, design all text level to use correct font family: “Source Sans Pro”
- Fix the overlapping title, text or graphic.
- Make sure when added new layout, text placeholder in correct placement
- Fix footer number and title to auto-generated. Right now user need filled the number and footer text manually
- Create Documentation file for new user how to use the template as simple and clear and possible.

Submission & Source Files
Preview Image

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Presentation graphics that will fit nicely on a 1024px × 768px size. Submission files should be JPG/PNG.

Source Files
All source files of all graphics created in Google Slides Presentation. Make sure all fonts, graphics and images are embedded inside your source files.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your template or modify overall colors.

Stock Photography

Stock photography is not allowed in this challenge. All submitted elements must be designed solely by you. See this page for more details.

  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

SUBMISSION FORMAT:

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

Fonts, Stock Photos, and Icons:

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.
